Is ₹24,999 the confirmed Flipkart price?
No. TelecomTalk reported on October 6, 2026, that the vivo T5x 5G’s 6 GB + 128 GB version was expected to be offered for ₹24,999 during the upcoming Flipkart Big Billion Days sale. When Flipkart’s indexed listing was checked on October 7, it showed ₹27,999 for that configuration before eligible offers. A listing also showed a ₹25,649 lowest price after selected offers; eligibility may depend on the offer, seller, and location. The ₹24,999 figure should therefore be treated as an expected sale offer until it appears at checkout.

Prices differ across the available records: vivo’s e-store displayed ₹28,999 for the selected 6 GB + 128 GB model when checked on October 7, while vivo’s launch announcement listed a lower launch price for that configuration. These are prices reported at different times and by different sellers; they do not establish what every buyer will pay now.
What was the official launch price?
vivo’s launch announcement said first sales began March 24, 2026, and listed these launch prices:

The ₹45,999 “original price” sometimes claimed in sale coverage is not supported by vivo’s launch announcement. Do not treat it as the official launch price.
How to judge the deal at checkout
- Confirm that the listing is for the 6 GB + 128 GB variant if you are comparing it with the reported ₹24,999 offer.
- Check whether the displayed price requires a bank card, exchange, or another eligibility condition; such savings do not apply to every buyer.
- Compare the final payable amount, seller, and return terms rather than relying on a crossed-out or “lowest price” figure.
What makes the vivo T5x 5G appealing?
Large battery and 44 W charging
vivo lists a 7200 mAh battery and 44 W charging. Capacity is a standout specification for someone who prioritizes fewer charging stops, but it does not by itself establish how long the phone lasts in everyday use. vivo’s advertised playback and battery-health figures are based on laboratory or controlled conditions; actual results vary with use and settings.

Dimensity processor, memory and storage choices
The phone uses a MediaTek Dimensity 7400-Turbo processor and is listed with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. vivo also describes extended RAM, which uses software and storage rather than adding physical memory. It should not be counted as equivalent to the phone’s installed RAM. No independent benchmark or hands-on performance result is established here, so the specification alone is not proof of how it performs in a particular game or workload.

vivo lists OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and advertises IP68 and IP69+ dust and water resistance. These are manufacturer-listed features, not a promise that the phone cannot be damaged by water or dust; use and care should follow vivo’s terms.

What are the compromises?
The display is LCD, not AMOLED
The 6.76-inch panel is an LCD with 2344 × 1080 resolution and a listed refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. That high refresh-rate specification does not change the panel type: buyers who value AMOLED contrast should treat the LCD as a meaningful trade-off. No independent display measurements are available to establish brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor visibility.
Camera specifications do not prove image quality
vivo lists a 50 MP Sony IMX852 main rear camera, a 2 MP bokeh camera, and a 32 MP front camera. Megapixel counts and sensor naming are not substitutes for sample images or independent testing, so they do not establish that the T5x takes better photos than another phone.

It is a substantial phone
vivo’s e-store lists the weight as 219 g. If you prefer a light phone or often use one-handed, consider that figure alongside the large display and battery.

- Consider it if the checkout price really is ₹24,999 for the configuration you want and battery capacity, the listed processor, and a large display are your priorities.
- Look elsewhere if AMOLED is a must-have, low weight is important, or you need independent evidence of camera quality or performance before choosing.
- Compare carefully if the final price is closer to ₹27,999 or ₹28,999. At those amounts, judge the T5x against the exact alternatives available to you rather than assuming the expected sale price applies.
A fair comparison should use the same RAM and storage tier and weigh final price, display type and quality, battery and charging, processor, camera evidence, software support, and weight. Current specifications for named competing phones are not established here, so a ranked list of alternatives would be unreliable.

vivo’s e-store says the box includes a charger, USB cable, case, applied protective film, eject tool, and warranty card. Box contents can vary, so confirm them on the local product listing before purchase. Since a charger and case are listed as included, there is no need to assume you must buy either separately.
