Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteOn the published figures, the vivo T5 Pro 5G is the stronger phone: it has a larger 9020 mAh battery, 90W charging, a higher-refresh AMOLED display and up to 12GB of RAM. The vivo T5 Lite 44W 5G is the cheaper phone on vivo India’s store listings. But the ₹15,000 gap between them compares two different memory and storage configurations, so it does not show what either phone costs in the same version.
The ₹15,000 price gap compares unlike configurations
vivo’s Official E-Store India lists the T5 Pro 5G in its 8GB+128GB version at ₹41,999. The T5 Lite 44W 5G appears in its 6GB+256GB version at ₹26,999. The two listings differ in both RAM and storage: the Pro has more memory but half the storage of the Lite’s listed version. That means the ₹15,000 difference is not the price of the Pro’s extra features over the Lite. It is the gap between two different products at two different tiers.

A matched comparison is not possible from the material available. The T5 Pro’s parameter page lists storage options of 128GB and 256GB, but the store listing used here shows a price only for the 8GB+128GB version. No T5 Pro price is shown for 6GB+256GB or 8GB+256GB, and the Lite’s 8GB or 128GB versions are not shown either.
The store also displays discounts against MRP. Discounts and stock change often, and the listing used here carries no date stamp in the source material. Treat the rupee figures as a snapshot, and confirm the current price for the exact version you want before comparing.

What the differences mean in daily use
Battery and charging
The T5 Pro has the larger battery (9020 mAh against 6500 mAh) and the faster charger rating (90W against 44W). Both figures are maximums or ratings from vivo. Neither vivo page gives charging times or battery-life results, so the gap in real endurance and charging speed is not measured here. The larger battery and higher charging rating are the clearest practical advantages the official material establishes for the Pro.

Display
Both phones have 120Hz-or-higher refresh rates. The Pro’s display is described as AMOLED, reaches up to 144Hz, and has a 2800×1260 resolution. The Lite’s product page confirms a 120Hz display and a 1200-nit high-brightness mode, but does not state its panel type or resolution, so a direct display-quality comparison is not possible from the Lite’s page.

Processor and memory
The two phones use different chips: the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 in the Pro and the Dimensity 6300 in the Lite. The official pages give no benchmark results for either, so this article does not predict which one is faster in games, multitasking or camera processing. The Pro’s listing also offers up to 12GB of RAM, while the Lite’s listed version has 6GB.
Dust and water resistance
The T5 Pro’s parameter page lists IP68 and IP69, while the Lite’s product page lists IP65. Both are dust-and-water ratings, and the Pro’s are higher on paper. The two ratings come from different vivo pages and are not tested here.

Cameras
The T5 Pro lists a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main sensor, a 2 MP bokeh sensor and a 32 MP front camera. The Lite’s product page confirms only a 50 MP main camera. Without the Lite’s other camera specifications, a full camera comparison is not possible, and image quality cannot be inferred from sensor counts.
What comes in the box
The T5 Pro’s retail page says the box includes a charger, a phone case and a protective film already applied to the screen. The Lite’s package contents are not covered on the product page cited here. Package contents can vary by market, so check the listing for your region before assuming a specific bundle.

Which phone fits which buyer
- Choose the T5 Pro 5G if battery capacity, charging speed, the higher IP rating and up to 12GB of RAM matter more than price. Expect to pay more: the only Pro price shown here is ₹41,999 for 8GB+128GB.
- Choose the T5 Lite 44W 5G if you want the lower displayed price and 256GB of storage in the listed version, and a 6500 mAh battery with 44W charging is enough for your use.
- Do not decide on the ₹15,000 gap alone. Compare the same RAM and storage version on the same store page before deciding which is better value.
How to check the price before you buy
- Open vivo’s Official E-Store India and select the exact RAM and storage version you want for each phone.
- Compare the selling price with the MRP and note the discount, since discounts can end without notice.
- Confirm the store is serving the Indian market, because the prices quoted here are in Indian rupees and apply to vivo India listings.
- Check stock and delivery options on the same page before you pay.
The comparison above is limited to vivo’s published specifications and store listings. It does not include hands-on testing of either phone.
