That is not yet a like-for-like comparison: the POCO listing’s configuration is not fully matched, its specifications are unconfirmed by an official POCO page in the available sources, and vivo’s own pages conflict on several T5 specifications. Treat the price gap as a snapshot, not a buying verdict.
Price difference: ₹1,000 on the listed prices, but check the variants

The comparison page identifies Flipkart as the retailer for the listed prices, but neither figure should be treated as a guaranteed live offer. Stock, discounts, and selected configurations can change. Check the retailer’s current price and ensure you are comparing the same RAM and storage before deciding that one phone costs only ₹1,000 more.

Specifications at a glance—and what is not settled
The following reflects what the cited pages state, rather than a fully verified head-to-head specification sheet. In particular, vivo’s official India pages do not agree on the T5 screen, processor, or battery capacity.

Display: do not choose between AMOLED and LCD on conflicting listings
The vivo store and marketing page describe a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel, but vivo’s separate parameter page lists a 6.76-inch LCD. Because this is a disagreement among the manufacturer’s own India pages, a definitive T5 display comparison would be premature. Verify the display on the exact product listing or SKU before buying.

For POCO, the 6.83-inch AMOLED specification comes from 91mobiles rather than an official POCO page in the available sources. Even if that listing is accurate, it does not remove the vivo-side uncertainty or establish that the panels have comparable resolution, refresh rate, or other characteristics.
Performance: chipset names alone are not enough to rank them
The vivo chipset is variously named Dimensity 7500 Turbo, Dimensity 7500, and Dimensity 7400-Turbo across vivo’s store, marketing page, and parameter page. The POCO listing names Snapdragon 6 Gen 5, but that specification is secondary-source-only here. Confirm both processors and the intended regional versions before relying on a chipset ranking.

Cameras: vivo’s rear-camera details are clearer in the available official material
vivo’s marketing page specifies a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and 4K recording from both front and rear. Those claims make the T5’s listed camera setup more detailed in the available official information; they do not establish real-world image quality.

91mobiles lists a 50MP rear camera and 32MP front camera for the POCO X8 Power 5G. The cited comparison does not establish the rear-camera arrangement beyond that resolution or video capabilities, and no official POCO source is available here to verify the figures.

Battery and charging
The vivo store and marketing page state 7050mAh with 44W charging, while vivo’s parameter page lists 7200mAh and 44W. The capacity discrepancy needs checking against the exact India SKU. The cited POCO comparison does not establish battery capacity or charging speed, so a battery-size or charging winner cannot be named from these sources.

Protection
vivo’s marketing page claims IP68/IP69 protection and military-grade durability. Treat those as manufacturer claims and verify the precise certification and applicable warranty terms for the device sold in India. The cited POCO details do not state a protection rating.
Software and updates
The available vivo pages describe OriginOS 6, while the parameter page also lists Android 16. 91mobiles lists Android 16 and HyperOS for POCO and indicates longer software/security support than for the vivo entry, but the actual support terms are not given here and are not verified by an official POCO source. Compare the brands’ official update commitments for the exact regional models before treating support longevity as a deciding advantage.

Which phone should you buy?
At these listed prices, the vivo T5 5G has the more directly verifiable price and configuration: vivo’s store shows ₹34,999 for 6GB+128GB, and its official marketing page provides specific camera and durability claims. But the display, chipset, and battery-capacity conflicts across vivo’s own pages make it difficult to recommend on a settled specification advantage.
The POCO X8 Power 5G is listed at ₹35,999 with an 8GB/128GB configuration, but the available specifications and price are from 91mobiles rather than an official POCO product page. Do not pay a ₹1,000 premium on the assumption that its display, processor, or update support is confirmed until POCO’s India listing verifies the model and terms.
Before ordering either phone, confirm the exact India model, RAM/storage variant, live retailer price, and the disputed or secondary-source specifications on the manufacturer’s official listing. On the evidence available here, the ₹1,000 listed gap is clear; a confident overall winner is not.
