The vivo T4x 5G is the paper choice for battery capacity and charging speed; the Samsung Galaxy M36 5G stands out for its Super AMOLED display, optical image stabilization (OIS) on the rear camera, and a clearly stated software-support commitment. Their listed specifications are close in screen size and refresh rate, but the two phones prioritize different features. Current prices should be checked for matching memory variants: Samsung’s published figures are introductory 2025 prices, not a live price comparison.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not independent test results. vivo notes that actual results can vary with software, environment, use, and production batch; Samsung also says specifications can change and battery life varies with network and usage. The two durability claims describe different things and should not be treated as equivalent protection guarantees.

How the displays compare
Both phones list a 120 Hz refresh rate and nearly the same screen size. The key distinction is display technology: vivo specifies an LCD, while Samsung lists a Full HD+ Super AMOLED panel. That gives shoppers a concrete feature difference to weigh, but the published specifications alone do not establish measured brightness, color accuracy, or which screen looks better in person.
Performance: processor names, not benchmark results
The T4x lists MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 5G built on a 4 nm process; the M36 lists Samsung’s Exynos 1380 on a 5 nm process. These model and process-node details identify the hardware, but they do not settle which phone is faster in everyday use or gaming. No independent benchmark figures are established here, so avoid choosing solely by comparing the nanometer numbers.

Battery and charging: vivo leads on listed capacity and wattage
vivo lists a 6500 mAh typical battery (6360 mAh rated) and charging up to 44 W. Samsung lists 5000 mAh typical (4905 mAh rated) and 25 W charging. Those specifications favor the T4x on paper for battery capacity and maximum charging power, but they do not prove longer real-world endurance or a particular charging time. Results depend on usage and other conditions.
Camera hardware and video features
The T4x has a 50 MP main camera paired with a 2 MP bokeh camera, plus an 8 MP selfie camera. Samsung lists a 50 MP OIS triple rear camera and a 13 MP front camera, and its launch announcement says the M36 supports 4K recording from both front and rear cameras.

On the published feature list, the M36 adds OIS and a higher-resolution front camera. Megapixel counts and listed features do not establish which phone takes better photos or video; that requires comparable testing in real shooting conditions.

Samsung announced the M36 with One UI 7 and a commitment to six generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates. vivo’s T4x specification page lists Android 15 and Funtouch OS 15, but does not state an equivalent support duration. The available specifications therefore support a direct comparison of Samsung’s announced commitment, not a conclusion that vivo will receive no updates.

Price difference: compare the same storage variant
Samsung India’s June 30, 2025 launch announcement gave these introductory prices and said availability would begin July 12, 2025. The 6 GB + 128 GB price included a ₹1,000 instant bank discount.

These are historical launch figures, not current prices. An official vivo store comparison listing captured ₹16,999 for the T4x 6 GB + 128 GB, but that was not a synchronized quote against current Samsung pricing. It cannot establish today’s price difference or which phone is cheaper now. Check live prices for the same RAM and storage configuration, and compare seller, stock, warranty, and delivery availability before buying.

Which one should you buy?
Choose the vivo T4x if battery specifications are your priority
- You want the larger listed battery capacity and higher maximum charging rating.
- You are comfortable with an LCD rather than the M36’s listed Super AMOLED display.
- You are comparing prices using the same memory and storage configuration.
Choose the Samsung Galaxy M36 if its listed display and support features matter more
- You prefer a phone with a Super AMOLED display on its specification sheet.
- You value the listed OIS rear-camera feature, 13 MP front camera, or announced 4K front and rear recording.
- You want Samsung’s explicit six-generation Android upgrade and six-year security-update commitment.
Neither set of specifications proves overall superiority. Decide which features matter most, then check current, like-for-like prices; the older launch prices cannot identify today’s better value.
