The T4 Ultra adds a 50MP 3x periscope camera to its 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide cameras. That gives it a dedicated listed telephoto option that the Redmi Turbo 5’s listed 50MP main and 8MP ultra-wide rear system does not have. The Turbo 5’s main camera is listed as a 50MP Sony IMX882 unit with OIS. The T4 Ultra’s main camera is listed as a 50MP Sony IMX921. These hardware details, along with the T4 Ultra’s 32MP front camera versus the Turbo 5’s 20MP front camera, do not establish which phone takes better photos or selfies. That requires comparable camera samples or testing.

Which has better battery and charging?
The Redmi Turbo 5 leads on the listed numbers: 7540mAh battery capacity and 100W wired charging, compared with the T4 Ultra’s 5500mAh and 90W. Xiaomi also lists 27W wired reverse charging for the Turbo 5. Are the chipsets or durability ratings a deciding factor?
Chipset names are not a performance test
The T4 Ultra is listed with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ 5G, and the Redmi Turbo 5 with the Dimensity 8500-Ultra. The names alone are not enough to declare a speed or gaming winner. If gaming or sustained performance is your priority, look for independent tests of the exact India-market variants and their software versions.

vivo lists IP64 for the T4 Ultra; Xiaomi lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K for the Turbo 5. Treat these as manufacturer-stated ingress ratings, not a promise that either phone cannot be damaged by water or dust.

What are the India prices and availability?
In the reviewed India listings, Xiaomi showed the Redmi Turbo 5 from ₹41,999, alongside a ₹54,999 marketing price. vivo’s official store displayed ₹35,999 against an MRP of ₹40,999 for the T4 Ultra 8GB+256GB, but marked that selected variant out of stock. These are volatile listing snapshots, not guaranteed offers; compare the same RAM and storage configuration and check current seller terms before buying. Xiaomi India’s phone listing and vivo India’s store listing are the cited price references.
Availability also needs checking: Xiaomi’s product and phone-listing pages show the Turbo 5 and a listed price, while its event page still says “COMING SOON.” Confirm that the exact variant can actually be ordered before treating it as available. Xiaomi’s event page shows the conflicting status.

- Choose the Redmi Turbo 5 if battery capacity and wired charging wattage are your priorities, or you prefer its slightly smaller listed display. First verify the desired variant’s live price and availability.
