The India-market vivo T3x 5G is a good fit if you want a large 120Hz screen, dependable everyday performance and long battery life at a budget-phone price. Its main compromises are average cameras, an LCD rather than AMOLED panel, and pre-installed third-party apps. In a May 2024 review, 91mobiles rated it 8/10; that verdict reflects its testing at the time, not today’s value or availability.

What are the vivo T3x’s strengths?
Large, smooth display
The 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD runs at up to 120Hz, making scrolling and compatible animations look smoother than on a standard-refresh display. 91mobiles found it respectable for the price, though it does not deliver the vivid contrast of an AMOLED panel.

In its May 2024 review, 91mobiles found the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 adequate for day-to-day use and casual gaming. It reported that BGMI, Call of Duty and Real Racing 3 were playable without uncomfortable warmth, while noting that frame rates could drop. Those are the reviewer’s observations, not a guarantee that every game or setting will run identically.

Strong battery life
The 6,000mAh typical-capacity battery is a major reason to consider the T3x. vivo also lists a rated capacity of 5,870mAh; typical and rated capacity are different manufacturer measurements, not competing claims. Its maximum supported charging rate is 44W with vivo’s standard adapter.
How good are the vivo T3x’s cameras?
Camera performance is the phone’s clearest weakness. 91mobiles described the rear cameras as average, citing limited dynamic range and weak low-light results. If photography is a priority, especially consistent shots after dark, this is a meaningful trade-off. In the same review’s comparison, the Moto G64 produced better daylight sharpness and dynamic range.
The rear setup combines a 50MP main camera with a 2MP secondary camera, and the front camera is 8MP. Do not assume every storage or memory version has the same video capability: vivo specifies rear-camera 4K recording at 30fps only for the 8GB RAM edition.
How fast are performance and charging in tests?
Benchmarks are useful for understanding one review unit under stated test conditions, but should not be treated as universal scores. In its May 2024 testing, 91mobiles recorded:
- AnTuTu: 549,494.
- Geekbench: 940 single-core and 2,767 multi-core.
- Burnout test: 81% of peak performance retained.
For battery, the same publication recorded almost 24 hours in its PC Mark battery test, around an hour to charge from nearly depleted to full, and 3% battery use during a 30-minute FHD+ video-streaming check. These are 91mobiles’ results under its testing conditions, not promised runtimes for every user.
What are the vivo T3x’s drawbacks?
- Average cameras: limited dynamic range and weak low-light results make it a less convincing choice for photo-focused buyers.
- LCD instead of AMOLED: the 120Hz panel is smooth, but the review found it less vivid than AMOLED alternatives.
- Pre-installed apps: 91mobiles noted third-party apps on the phone and said they can be removed.
The phone weighs 199g. Despite its large battery, 91mobiles’ reviewer considered it comfortable to hold.

At its India launch in 2024, vivo announced these prices for 128GB configurations:
| Configuration | Announced launch price |
|---|---|
| 4GB + 128GB | ₹13,499 |
| 6GB + 128GB | ₹14,999 |
| 8GB + 128GB | ₹16,499 |
These are historical launch prices, not current offers. When accessed on October 4, 2026, vivo’s official store displayed ₹20,499 for an 8GB + 128GB listing but marked the selected item unavailable. Check the official vivo store listing and other sellers for live price and stock before buying; an unavailable listing is not a purchasable offer.
For a current comparison, match the same RAM and storage configuration and check camera quality, display type and refresh rate, sustained performance, battery and charging, software experience and update policy, and the actual price. 91mobiles named the Moto G64, realme Narzo 70 and POCO X6 Neo as close competitors in its 2024 review, but its launch-era comparisons do not establish which is the better buy at current prices. It specifically found the Moto G64 stronger for daylight camera sharpness and dynamic range, and closer to stock Android.
Battery, water resistance and other caveats
vivo says the battery is designed to retain up to 80% of its original capacity after 1,600 complete charge cycles—approximately four years under a simulated daily full-charge/full-discharge pattern. This is a laboratory-derived manufacturer claim, not a quality guarantee for everyday use. vivo likewise bases its playback-duration claims on controlled lab settings and says actual results vary.
The T3x is rated IP64 under controlled laboratory conditions; that does not mean it is waterproof. vivo says resistance is not permanent and may diminish with use, and that liquid-ingress damage is not covered by warranty.

Consider the T3x if your priorities are a big, smooth 120Hz display, long battery life and reliable everyday use, and you are comfortable removing unwanted apps. Look elsewhere if camera consistency—especially in low light—or an AMOLED screen matters more. The 91mobiles 8/10 score is a May 2024 review verdict; whether the phone is worthwhile now depends on current availability and the price of the exact variant you want.
