Which phone has the better display and cameras?
Display: AMOLED and more pixels on the T3 Ultra
The T3 Ultra lists a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with 2800 × 1260 resolution. The T5x has a slightly smaller 6.76-inch LCD with 2344 × 1080 resolution. On the listed specifications, the T3 Ultra offers the higher-resolution AMOLED display. The figures do not, by themselves, establish comparative brightness, color accuracy, or viewing experience.
Rear cameras: OIS and ultrawide versus bokeh
The T3 Ultra’s listed rear system includes a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The T5x lists a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera and a 2MP bokeh camera. The T3 Ultra therefore offers OIS on its main camera and a dedicated ultrawide option; the T5x’s secondary camera is specified for bokeh. Megapixel counts and component lists are not substitutes for comparative camera testing.

Selfies: higher listed resolution on the T3 Ultra
The T3 Ultra lists a 50MP autofocus front camera, and vivo’s launch release describes its field of view as 92°. The T5x lists a 32MP front camera. These specifications identify a difference in hardware, not a guaranteed difference in selfie quality.
Battery, charging and resistance
Battery capacity and charging
vivo lists a 7200mAh battery for the T5x and a 5500mAh typical-capacity battery for the T3 Ultra. The T5x has the larger stated capacity; that alone does not establish how long either phone lasts under a particular workload. The T3 Ultra lists 80W charging, compared with 44W for the T5x. Wattage is not a real-world charging-time comparison.

Water- and dust-resistance ratings
The T3 Ultra is rated IP68. vivo markets the T5x as IP68/IP69+ and its official specifications describe test conditions. Those ratings are classifications based on specified laboratory tests, not a promise that a phone is waterproof. vivo warns that resistance can diminish over time and advises against immersing the T5x during everyday use. Treat both devices accordingly, and check each manufacturer’s product documentation for its full rating qualifications.

Price difference in India: compare the same configuration
There is no single dependable price difference without matching RAM and storage, date, stock and offer. The figures below come from vivo India and refer to different price contexts; they should not be read as simultaneous, like-for-like transaction prices.

The March 2026 T5x prices are launch figures, while the July 2026 Fusion Red announcement listed later prices and said offers reduced each by ₹2,000 at that announcement. That offer is tied to the announcement, not a standing discount. Check the live seller page for the exact variant, availability and applicable offer before purchase.
For context, vivo’s September 2024 T3 Ultra launch release also described a temporary ₹3,000 HDFC offer; it is historical, not a current discount. The launch prices and later store or variant-announcement values cannot be combined into an unqualified current price comparison.
