Where the S2 has an advantage
Sharper, OLED-type display
The S2’s 1.5K POLED/AMOLED panel and stated 449 ppi are a substantial resolution step up from the Y31t’s 1608 × 720 LCD. Both list refresh rates up to 120 Hz, so the refresh-rate ceiling alone does not distinguish them. If you read, watch video or browse on your phone frequently, the S2’s finer stated resolution and OLED-type panel are the clearest screen advantages on paper.

Higher-resolution selfie camera
The S2 lists a 32 MP front camera against the Y31t’s 8 MP front camera. That is a difference in stated resolution, not proof that every selfie will look better: image processing, lighting and other camera characteristics also matter. Their rear-camera layouts are similar on paper, with a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP bokeh camera on each.

A published update commitment
vivo says the S2 will receive 3 generations of OS updates and 5 years of security updates. The Y31t specification page lists Android 16 and OriginOS 6 but does not give an update duration. That makes the S2’s support commitment clearer in the published information; it does not establish that the Y31t receives no updates.
Where the Y31t 5G may suit you better
Higher stated battery capacity
The Y31t is rated at 7200 mAh typical, versus 7050 mAh for the S2—a 150 mAh difference. Both list 44 W charging. The larger number does not establish longer runtime under the same conditions; screen, software, signal and usage all affect battery life.

Match the configurations
The S2 information describes an 8 GB edition and extended RAM, while the comparison page lists 128 GB storage. The Y31t page lists three RAM/storage combinations. Confirm the exact S2 storage option and the Y31t variant offered by the seller; do not compare a lower-memory Y31t listing with a different S2 configuration as though they were identical.
