The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G has the lowest reported starting price at ₹36,999, the Vivo S2 FE lists the largest battery at 10,000 mAh typical, and the Motorola Edge 70 Pro pairs the fastest listed wired charging at 90 W with the highest refresh rate at 144 Hz. Brightness figures need care: the Vivo figure is HBM, while Redmi and Motorola figures are described as peak brightness, and the values may not be measured under the same conditions. Current offers can also differ from Digit’s reported starting prices.

How do the cameras compare?

The clearest hardware distinction is the secondary rear camera. Vivo lists a 2 MP bokeh sensor alongside its 50 MP main camera; that is not an ultrawide camera. Redmi lists a 50 MP OIS main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide. Motorola lists a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP ultrawide.

For selfies, the listed resolutions are 32 MP on Vivo, 16 MP on Redmi, and 50 MP on Motorola. Megapixel counts and camera hardware alone do not establish which phone produces better photos. No equivalent independent camera shootout is established in the cited material, so claims about image quality would go beyond the available comparison.

Battery capacity versus charging speed

Vivo lists the largest typical capacity: 10,000 mAh, with a rated capacity of 9,800 mAh, and 44 W wired charging. Redmi lists a 9,000 mAh typical silicon-carbon battery and 67 W charging. Motorola lists a 6,500 mAh silicon-carbon battery and 90 W charging. The Vivo capacity distinction matters: typical and rated figures are not interchangeable.

Capacity is not a standardized endurance result. A higher mAh figure does not by itself show how long a phone will last in everyday use, and charging wattage alone does not tell you how quickly a complete charge takes under real conditions. Vivo publishes battery scenarios from its own lab and notes that actual battery life varies with conditions; those manufacturer tests are not a direct comparison with Redmi or Motorola. No standardized comparative battery test is established here.

Displays, performance and software

Refresh rate and brightness

Motorola lists up to 144 Hz, compared with up to 120 Hz for both Vivo and Redmi. That is the highest stated refresh rate, not a guarantee of visibly better overall display quality or a measure of how much battery a chosen setting will use. The reported brightness figures are also not directly interchangeable: Vivo’s is stated as HBM, while the other two are peak figures.

Chipset and operating system

Digit lists the Vivo S2 FE with a Dimensity 7300e and OriginOS 6 based on Android 16; the Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G with a Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and HyperOS 3 based on Android 16; and the Motorola Edge 70 Pro with a Dimensity 8500 Extreme and Android 16. These names identify the listed platforms and software, but without comparative performance testing they do not prove which phone is faster in everyday use.

Which one should you consider?

  • Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G: consider it if the lowest reported starting price or a listed ultrawide camera alongside the main camera is your priority.
  • Vivo S2 FE: consider it if the largest listed typical battery capacity is the draw, while noting its 44 W charging rating and that its second rear camera is a bokeh sensor rather than an ultrawide.
  • Motorola Edge 70 Pro: consider it if the listed 90 W wired charging, 144 Hz refresh rate, or 50 MP ultrawide is most relevant to you; its reported starting price is the highest of these three.

Before choosing, compare the exact variant and current offer, then weigh battery capacity against charging speed, camera layout, display claims, and software preference. Treat specifications as a way to narrow options, not as a substitute for comparable camera and battery testing.
