Which phones are confirmed for the event?
vivo V80
The V80 is marked “Coming Soon” by vivo India, with an October 6 launch date. vivo’s Newsroom says the phone will feature 4K Cinematic Video and a 50 MP ZEISS Night Telephoto Camera. These are manufacturer-announced features, not independent test results.

vivo S2 FE
The S2 FE is also identified in event coverage as a phone for the October 6 India event. The cited pre-event information does not establish a complete official India specification or price for it.
Are the X Fold 6 and Vivo Vision headset launching in India?
Not confirmed by the cited event coverage. A report says the event poster appears to tease a foldable and a mixed-reality headset, which it suggests may be the vivo X Fold 6 and Vivo Vision. That is an identification based on the poster, not confirmation of either product’s India launch.

The same report notes that Vivo Vision launched in China in August 2025 and had remained exclusive to China. Its appearance on an India event poster may signal interest in the product, but does not establish India availability, local pricing or a retail date. Treat any launch claim for the X Fold 6 or headset as unconfirmed until vivo announces it.
What buyers should wait to compare

Once vivo publishes official India details, compare the two phones on the same basis:
- Price by storage and memory configuration
- Availability and sales channels
- Display and camera specifications
- Battery and charging details
- Software support and warranty terms
Pre-event coverage gives more detail about the V80 than the S2 FE, so it is too early to call one the better buy from the information currently established. Wait for the official configurations, prices and availability before deciding.
