The vivo Buds launched in India at ₹1,999, pairing a manufacturer-rated battery life of up to 50 hours with a 10 mm driver, EQ controls and Bluetooth multipoint. Independent reviews describe enjoyable, balanced-to-warm sound, but the 50-hour figure is a controlled manufacturer claim, not a typical-use guarantee—and these earbuds do not have active noise cancellation for music listening.
That makes them a promising everyday option if battery life, light earbuds and two-device connectivity matter more to you than ANC or premium sound features. Here is what the specifications and independent reviews establish.

What are the vivo Buds, and how much do they cost?
vivo India announced the India-market vivo Buds on September 10, 2026, at ₹1,999 inclusive of taxes. A Flipkart result showed the same price when accessed on October 4, 2026, with 4.4/5 from 450 ratings and 209 reviews. Prices, availability and retailer ratings can change, so treat that as a dated snapshot rather than a current offer or a guarantee of product quality. vivo’s launch announcement and the Flipkart listing result provide those respective details.
How long does the vivo Buds battery last?
vivo rates the earbuds for up to 12 hours of music playback on a charge and up to 50 hours total when using the charging case. The 50-hour figure comes from vivo’s test using MP3 playback at 50% volume, AAC, sound effects turned off, and charging cycles until both the earbuds and case were depleted. vivo says actual playback time varies with usage, so volume, audio settings and listening habits can reduce the result.
#1 Best Overall
- Sport headsets
Digit reports about 9.5 hours in its own real-world playback test at 100% volume with AAC active. That is one publication’s result under different conditions—not a directly comparable lab test or a promise of runtime for every listener. The difference illustrates why the headline maximum should not be treated as an everyday expectation.
- Per charge: Up to 12 hours of music playback, according to vivo.
- With the case: Up to 50 hours total under vivo’s stated test conditions.
- Fast charge: vivo says a 10-minute charge provides up to 4 hours of music playback; actual duration can vary.
- Calls: Up to 7 hours per charge, according to vivo.
How do the vivo Buds sound?
The verified hardware includes a 10 mm high-resolution speaker driver, 10-band custom EQ, preset sound effects and Spatial Audio modes. Those specifications describe the available features; they do not guarantee a particular listening experience.
Fossbytes reviewer Hisan Kidwai, writing after using a review unit daily for two weeks, describes balanced tuning, clear vocals and respectable bass. He also notes a somewhat narrow soundstage. Digit characterizes the sound as warm and bass-present. These are reviewers’ listening impressions, not independently measured frequency-response results. If you prefer a different balance, the custom EQ gives you a way to adjust the sound.

Do the vivo Buds have ANC?
No active noise cancellation for listening is identified in the independent reviews. vivo advertises AI noise cancellation for calls, which is a separate function: it is intended to reduce background noise picked up during calls, not to cancel ambient sound while you listen to music. If blocking engine, office or travel noise is a must-have, these are not the right earbuds to buy on the assumption that they include listening ANC.
Are the vivo Buds comfortable and practical for everyday use?
vivo lists each earbud at 3.8 g and rates the earbuds IP54 for dust and water resistance. The IP54 rating applies to the earbuds; do not assume the charging case shares it. Fossbytes praised comfort during the reviewer’s two weeks of daily use, including gym sessions and events, but also found the glossy surfaces prone to scratches. Fit remains personal, so that review is useful context rather than a guarantee.
Other practical features listed by vivo include 42 ms gaming latency and Bluetooth 6.1 multipoint for connecting up to two devices. Bluetooth version and multipoint support depend on the connected device. Digit says Spatial Audio is available on select vivo phones, so check compatibility with your own phone before treating that mode as a deciding feature.

Who should buy the vivo Buds?
At the announced ₹1,999 price, the strongest case for the vivo Buds is a mix of long stated battery life, light earbuds, EQ options and multipoint. The trade-off is clear: there is no listening ANC, one reviewer found the soundstage narrow, and ecosystem-dependent features may not work across every phone. The Times of India’s September 13, 2026 review rated them 3.5/5, supporting a view of the Buds as an everyday budget choice rather than a feature-complete premium alternative.
Recommended Free Tools
- Consider them if you want lightweight everyday earbuds, adjustable sound and the convenience of switching between two compatible devices.
- Look elsewhere if active noise cancellation for music, a broader soundstage or guaranteed access to every ecosystem feature is essential to you.
For alternatives in this price range, compare single-charge and case-assisted battery estimates alongside each brand’s test conditions; also check fit, EQ, multipoint compatibility, call performance and whether listening ANC or transparency is actually included. The available reviews do not provide controlled head-to-head tests against named competitors, so they do not establish a category winner.
