The VITURE Pro 2 is best understood as a private, wearable screen—not a self-contained XR computer. It makes the most sense for handheld gaming, movies and travel, provided you have a compatible device and are comfortable wearing glasses for extended viewing. It is less compelling if your priority is reading small text for work, strong built-in audio or a setup that works without extra hardware.
What the VITURE Pro 2 is—and what it isn’t
The Pro 2 connects to a host device to show its video output. AndroidGuys’ September 22, 2026 review describes dual Sony Micro-OLED panels and a standard USB-C connection, and says the glasses have no camera, standalone operating system or internal battery. Spatial features, according to that review, depend on the host device and VITURE’s SpaceWalker software. In other words, the glasses do not replace a phone, computer or game system.

VITURE’s official homepage listed the Pro 2 at $299 when checked for this article; prices and availability can change. Tom’s Guide’s August 6, 2026 review lists a 1080p resolution, a virtual screen described as 146 inches, up to 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-degree field of view, 2.2-ounce weight and up to 1,600 nits of perceived brightness. Those are specifications reported by Tom’s Guide, not independently verified here against a current model-specific specification sheet. A large virtual screen should not be taken to mean that the glasses reproduce the viewing area or experience of a physical 146-inch television.
How it suits gaming, movies and travel
Handheld gaming
A wearable screen can be useful with a handheld gaming device: the display travels with you, and you need not rely on a nearby television. Tom’s Guide found the viewing and gaming experience appealing. The practical question is whether your particular handheld connects directly or needs an adapter or dock. Tom’s Guide says console gaming, including Switch 2 use, requires an additional dock; AndroidGuys likewise notes that some devices need extra hardware. Check compatibility for your exact device and accessories before buying.

Movies and travel
For films and other video, the main draw is a personal screen you can carry and use without occupying a shared display. That portability makes the Pro 2 a plausible travel companion, though it still depends on a compatible source device. Consider what you will use to play content, how you will connect it, and whether you would rather use headphones: Tom’s Guide’s reviewer described the built-in speakers as quiet and tinny. That is one reviewer’s assessment, not a guarantee that every listener will find them inadequate.
Comfort, fit and the limits for work
Tom’s Guide’s reviewer praised comfort, but fit is personal, and a favorable review cannot establish how the glasses will feel on your face over a long session. Try to assess fit and vision adjustment options before committing if you can. The same reviewer found work and reading less comfortable than gaming and video. If your use depends on sharp, consistently readable text across a work session, that matters more than the headline virtual-screen size: test the glasses with the type of text and applications you actually use.

Older adapters, including the standard USB-C XR Charging Adapter and HDMI XR Adapter, do not support Luma Ultra.
Check the full setup before comparing prices
The official VITURE homepage listed the glasses at $299 at the time of this article. Your real cost may be higher if your source device needs a dock or adapter, so compare complete setups rather than the glasses’ price alone. VITURE’s homepage also lists the Mobile Dock Mini among its accessories, but that does not establish that this specific dock is required for every console or device.

Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →- Host compatibility: Confirm that your phone, handheld, console or computer can output video to the glasses and check whether it needs additional hardware.
- Use case: Weigh the appeal of a portable private screen for gaming and films against the reviewer-reported limits for work reading and built-in sound.
- Fit and viewing: Consider comfort, vision adjustment and whether the displayed image works for your eyes; published specifications alone cannot answer those personal questions.
- Alternatives: Compare candidate glasses on total setup cost, image quality and refresh rate, fit and vision adjustment, host compatibility, software features, audio and text readability. The available reviews mention competitors but do not provide enough like-for-like evidence to rank them.
Verdict: close to brilliance for the right setup
The VITURE Pro 2’s case is strongest when you already have a compatible source device and want a portable screen primarily for games or video. Its appeal is less certain if you expect a standalone XR system, effortless console connection, dependable work readability or satisfying built-in speakers. At the listed $299 price, decide based on your complete device-and-accessory setup and how well the glasses fit your intended use—not on screen-size claims alone.
