The Virtual Reali-Tea (VRT) Awards 2026 is a US reality-TV awards event, and it has already taken place. TechRadar reports that the ceremony was held on October 6, 2026, and that the full event was scheduled to stream on Philo from Friday, October 9, free for US viewers. Philo is restricted to US viewers, and the available reporting does not establish that the stream can be watched from anywhere else.
Which VRT Awards this is
The VRT in this article is the Virtual Reali-Tea, a reality-TV awards event that TechRadar describes as the second annual edition. It has no connection to Flemish public broadcaster VRT. VRT International describes VRT MAX as the digital platform of that Flemish broadcaster, a separate entity that the reporting does not link to these awards. If a search for VRT streaming leads you to Flemish broadcast content, it is a different service.

Event details as reported
- Date: October 6, 2026, according to TechRadar.
- Venue: Edison Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.
- Hosts: Danny Murphy and Evan Real.
- Streaming platform: Philo, with the full event reported to stream from Friday, October 9, 2026.
- Access: Free for US viewers, as TechRadar reports.
How to watch in the United States
Because the reported stream is on Philo and Philo is limited to US viewers, the practical route is for a viewer inside the United States to use Philo directly. The steps below follow the reported setup; the report does not describe Philo’s interface in detail, so confirm each screen on the service itself.

The full stream was reported to begin on Friday, October 9, 2026. The ceremony itself took place on October 6, so you are watching a recording of the broadcast rather than a live ceremony.
- Open Philo in a web browser or on a supported device, using a US-based connection.
- Search for the Virtual Reali-Tea Awards or browse for the event listing. The report does not give the exact title of the listing, so try both “Virtual Reali-Tea” and “VRT Awards.”
- If Philo asks you to sign in or create an account, follow its current sign-up process. The reporting does not state whether an account is required for this event, so check the event page for any account or subscription requirement.
- Start the stream. If the event does not appear on the scheduled date, check Philo’s listings again later, since the report describes the stream as upcoming at the time it was published.
Watching from outside the United States
TechRadar states that Philo is restricted to US viewers, so a viewer outside the US should not expect the stream to be available by default. The same report suggests NordVPN for travelers. That is the publication’s recommendation, not a confirmed route: the reporting does not show that a VPN will allow access, and it does not establish whether using one would comply with Philo’s terms. TechRadar also discloses that it uses affiliate links and may earn a commission on purchases, which is relevant when weighing that recommendation.
