The closest verified match is the eufy Video Doorbell E340. It combines a forward-facing camera for people, a second camera aimed down at the floor by the door, and integrated dual lights intended to produce color night vision. The manufacturer states clear nighttime viewing up to 16 ft (5 m). Those lights are for illuminating the camera scene; they should not be treated as a replacement for a porch or area floodlight.
Other products fit different parts of the brief. The older eufy Video Doorbell Dual 2K Battery has its own 2K and battery specifications and must not be confused with the E340. Reolink Duo Floodlight WiFi adds two lenses and genuine floodlights but is an outdoor security camera rather than a doorbell. Philips 7000 Series is another dual-camera doorbell candidate, although the available evidence does not establish built-in visible lighting or availability in every market.

What a dual-camera doorbell actually solves
A conventional doorbell camera usually points outward at face height. That angle can identify a visitor but leave the doorstep, parcel, or a person standing below the lens partly hidden. A dual-camera design separates those jobs:
What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
- Forward view: watches the visitor and the approach to the door.
- Downward view: watches the threshold, floor, and items placed there.
For package monitoring, the second camera’s direction matters more than simply counting lenses. A second lens aimed sideways or at a wide landscape may add context without showing the ground directly in front of your door. The E340 is the clearest match in the available evidence because its manufacturer specifically describes one camera facing forward and another covering the floor at the entrance.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Dual cameras also create a trade-off: two views require more image processing, power, and storage than one. Before buying, check how the exact model records both feeds, whether a subscription is required for useful playback, and whether the power arrangement can support the way you intend to use it.

Two views aimed at people and packages
The E340’s forward-facing camera is intended for people approaching the door. Its downward-facing camera covers the floor area immediately outside. That arrangement is more useful for package visibility than a second lens that merely widens the horizontal scene.
Coverage still depends on installation height, the door’s recess, steps, railings, and the distance from the threshold to the public path. Mounting the doorbell where the downward lens has an unobstructed view of the landing is therefore important. A low overhang or a parcel shelf can hide the very area the second camera is meant to show.
Integrated lights and nighttime color
The manufacturer describes a dual-light system for color night vision and states clear nighttime viewing up to 16 ft (5 m). This is integrated night-vision lighting: it helps the cameras render a nearby scene in color instead of relying only on infrared imagery.
Do not interpret the 16 ft figure as floodlight coverage. The available product description does not claim that the E340 lights a whole driveway, garden, or side yard like an area security floodlight. Walls, reflective surfaces, rain, and darkness beyond the illuminated zone can all reduce practical detail.
Power, weather protection, and smart-home features
The E340 product page lists wired or battery power, IP65 weather protection, two-way communication, 2K clarity, and support for Alexa and Google Voice Assistant. “Wired or battery” means you should confirm the exact regional kit and installation instructions: a battery installation may require periodic charging, while a wired installation depends on suitable existing doorbell wiring and the product’s accepted electrical range.

IP65 indicates protection against dust and water jets under the applicable test standard; it does not mean the unit can be submerged. Positioning under an eave can still reduce direct exposure and improve lens cleanliness.

Current price, regional stock, storage-hub compatibility, and the precise recording options are not established consistently in the available product evidence. The older eufy Video Doorbell Dual 2K Battery is a separate product
The name is similar, but the Video Doorbell Dual 2K Battery has its own specification sheet. Its published figures should not be transferred to the E340 without an E340-specific source.
| Specification | Video Doorbell Dual 2K Battery | How to interpret it |
|---|---|---|
| Resolution | 2K, 2560×1920 | Applies to this older Dual model, not automatically to E340 listings. |
| Night vision | 16 ft (5 m) | Manufacturer support specification for the older model. |
| Weather rating | IP65 | Use the rating for this model only. |
| Power | Battery or 8–24 V existing doorbell wiring | Check the voltage at the installation point before choosing wired operation. |
| Battery estimate | Six months | Conditional estimate: ten events per day, with 20 seconds of recording per event. |
The six-month figure is not a universal runtime guarantee. More motion events, longer clips, live viewing, cold weather, weak wireless conditions, or frequent two-way conversations can increase energy use. Treat it as a controlled-use estimate rather than a promise for a busy entrance.
When a floodlight camera is a better fit
Reolink Duo Floodlight WiFi
Reolink Duo Floodlight WiFi illustrates the boundary between a lit doorbell and a lit security camera. It has dual lenses, built-in floodlights, and a stated 180° view. That makes it relevant for broad coverage of a driveway, yard, or building frontage, but it is not itself a video doorbell.
Recommended Free Tools
Choose this type of product when the priority is lighting and monitoring a large outdoor area rather than receiving a press notification at the entrance. A floodlight camera may need a separate mounting position and electrical supply, and it will not automatically provide the visitor-facing ergonomics, doorbell button, or doorstep perspective of a doorbell unit.

The 180° figure describes the Duo Floodlight WiFi camera. It must not be used as a specification for a Reolink doorbell or for the E340.
Other dual-camera doorbell candidates
Philips 7000 Series
TechRadar identifies the Philips 7000 Series as a dual-camera doorbell. That makes it a candidate for readers who want two viewpoints, but the available evidence does not establish built-in visible lighting or availability in every market. Check the official documentation for the exact regional model before treating it as a match for the “built-in lighting” requirement.
Reolink doorbell variants
Reolink’s doorbell range demonstrates why the exact variant matters. Its lineup includes wired, PoE, and battery models, and those power methods can change installation requirements, recording behavior, and network setup. A brand-level assumption is not enough: identify the precise model number and verify whether it supports the storage method, chime arrangement, and power source you need.

How to choose between night-vision lights and floodlights
Choose integrated night-vision lighting when
- You need to recognize a visitor and see packages close to the threshold.
- You want a compact doorbell rather than a separate outdoor light and camera.
- You mainly need short-range illumination around the entrance.
- You can accept that the light is optimized for the camera’s scene, not for lighting a large property.
Choose a floodlight camera when
- Your main concern is a driveway, side passage, garden, or other broad area.
- You want visible area lighting as a deterrent or for walking safety.
- You can install the camera where its wide view is useful and provide the required electrical connection.
- A separate doorbell button or visitor-facing camera is not essential, or you are willing to use both devices.
It is possible to use both: a dual-camera doorbell for the visitor and doorstep, plus a floodlight camera for the wider approach. That provides complementary views, but it also means two installation points, two device configurations, and potentially separate storage or subscription arrangements.
Power and installation checklist
For a battery installation
- Confirm that the exact doorbell supports battery operation in your region.
- Measure the intended mounting position and check that the downward camera can see the landing.
- Identify how the unit is removed for charging and whether the position can be reached safely.
- Expect runtime to vary with motion frequency, clip length, live viewing, wireless signal, temperature, and conversations.
- Set motion zones to exclude busy sidewalks or roads if the app allows it; reducing unnecessary events can extend battery life.
For existing doorbell wiring
- Switch off the relevant circuit before opening the chime or transformer enclosure.
- Verify the voltage with a suitable meter or have an electrician check it.
- Compare the measured supply with the model’s accepted range. The older Dual 2K Battery specification lists 8–24 V; do not assume that range applies to E340.
- Check whether the existing chime, transformer, and wiring arrangement are compatible with the new doorbell.
- Restore power and test live view, the doorbell button, two-way audio, night scene, and both camera angles.
For PoE or fixed security-camera installations
PoE requires compatible network cabling and a PoE source such as an injector or switch. It is a different installation model from a battery or low-voltage doorbell and may be more appropriate for a permanent security-camera position than for a typical residential entrance. Verify the exact product’s network and recording requirements before buying hardware.
Recording, storage, and privacy questions to settle first
Two cameras can generate more footage than one, especially when both views are recorded for every motion event. Before installation, answer these questions for the exact model:

- Can recordings be stored locally, in the cloud, or both?
- Is a separate hub required, and is that hub confirmed as compatible with this precise model?
- Does one event save both camera views, or are they handled as separate clips?
- What happens when storage is full: overwrite, stop recording, or require deletion?
- Can you export clips in a usable format?
- How long are cloud clips retained, and which features require a paid plan?
The available E340 evidence does not establish a universal storage-hub requirement or a complete storage feature list. Do not purchase an accessory based only on a similar product name. Confirm compatibility in the current regional manual or product listing.

Mistaking a second lens for a package view
Problem: The second camera points sideways or far ahead, while parcels remain below the main lens.
Fix: Look for explicit wording that the second view is downward or covers the floor at the door. The E340 meets that description; verify other models with an installation diagram.
Expecting night-vision lights to illuminate the property
Problem: A product with color night vision is assumed to work like a floodlight.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix: Separate camera illumination from area lighting. The E340’s stated 16 ft (5 m) nighttime distance is a camera-view claim, not a floodlight specification. Use a product such as a dedicated floodlight camera when broad illumination is the objective.

Combining specifications from similar names
Problem: The older Dual 2K Battery’s 2K resolution, IP65 rating, voltage range, or conditional six-month estimate is copied into an E340 comparison.
Fix: Keep a separate specification row for each exact model and quote the model-specific source.
Ignoring the power supply
Problem: A wired unit is ordered before checking transformer voltage, or a battery unit is mounted where charging is difficult.
Fix: Decide between battery, low-voltage wiring, and PoE first; then verify the exact electrical requirements and installation access.
Choosing a broad-view camera for a narrow doorway
Problem: A 180° outdoor camera is installed at the entrance, but it lacks the visitor-facing doorbell experience or a useful downward threshold angle.
Fix: Use a doorbell for the door and doorstep. Reserve a wide floodlight camera for the yard, driveway, or other area it is designed to cover.
A practical decision path
- Define the scene: If packages at the threshold are the priority, require a downward-facing second camera. If the driveway or yard is the priority, consider a floodlight security camera.
- Define the light: For color night vision close to the door, an integrated light is appropriate. For walking or deterrence lighting across an area, require a true floodlight.
- Choose power: Select battery for simpler installation, compatible low-voltage wiring for continuous power, or PoE for a networked fixed-camera installation.
- Check the exact model: Confirm regional availability, voltage, weather rating, storage, hub compatibility, chime behavior, and smart-home support for the specific listing.
- Plan the angle: Mount high enough for faces but low and open enough for the downward camera to see the landing. Test daytime and nighttime views before finalizing cable routing.
Which option should you buy?
For a single device that most directly answers “two cameras, package view, and built-in lighting,” the eufy Video Doorbell E340 is the strongest verified choice. Its forward and downward views address different parts of the entrance, and its integrated dual lights support color night vision up to the manufacturer’s stated 16 ft (5 m) range.
Choose the older eufy Video Doorbell Dual 2K Battery only when its separate specifications and power arrangement match your installation; its six-month battery estimate is conditional and should not be used to predict E340 runtime. Consider Philips 7000 Series only after confirming lighting and regional support in official documentation. Choose Reolink Duo Floodlight WiFi when broad, floodlit outdoor coverage matters more than having a doorbell at the entrance.
