If Hindi text looks wrong in a URL2PNG screenshot, first check the same page in a regular browser. If it is wrong there too, fix the site’s font or loading setup. If it renders correctly in the browser but not in URL2PNG, check that the font loads during capture, try URL2PNG’s documented custom_css_url or a short delay, and rule out a cached image. A delay cannot supply missing Devanagari glyphs or install fonts on URL2PNG’s renderer.
Find out where the Hindi text breaks
Open the exact page and affected text in a current desktop browser. Compare the rendered Hindi with URL2PNG’s output. This separates a website problem from a difference in the hosted screenshot renderer.

URL2PNG advertises support for “Webfonts, Typekit,” but that vendor capability claim does not specifically guarantee Devanagari glyph coverage or Hindi shaping. Its public documentation does not identify the renderer’s browser version, installed system fonts, or Hindi-specific support.

Confirm the chosen font contains the needed glyphs
A font can render Latin characters while lacking Devanagari glyphs. Check the font’s coverage and the affected text’s computed font in the browser’s developer tools. If the selected font lacks those characters, choose a Hindi-capable font already available to the page and provide an appropriate fallback in the site’s CSS. Waiting longer will not add missing glyphs.

Check whether the font file arrives successfully
In the browser’s developer tools, inspect network requests for font files and look for failed or blocked requests. Confirm the font URL is reachable by the screenshot renderer too. A font that loads in your browser but is inaccessible to the capture service—for example, because of how the page or asset is protected—may not be available in the screenshot. URL2PNG’s public docs do not specify restrictions for cross-origin, authenticated, or customer-provided font URLs, so test your actual page rather than assuming every asset URL will work.
Apply a font choice with URL2PNG custom CSS
URL2PNG documents custom_css_url, which applies a stylesheet during capture. Host a stylesheet that selects a Devanagari-capable font already accessible to the page, and pass its URL as the option. For example, the stylesheet could contain a rule such as:

A CSS override changes font selection; it does not install a font on URL2PNG’s machines or make an unsupported font file accessible. Use delay only to test late font loading
URL2PNG’s delay option waits a fixed number of seconds after document readiness and asset loading. If the font appears to load late, test a small delay and increase it only enough to see whether timing changes the output. If the result improves, investigate why the font is late; a delay is a workaround for timing, not a glyph-coverage fix. The option and its behavior are described in the URL2PNG Quickstart Guide.

Use language and cache options for the right problems
accept_languages affects the request language header
URL2PNG documents accept_languages as an override for the HTTP Accept-Language header. It may matter if your site serves different content by language, but the documentation does not say it selects or installs Hindi fonts or fixes Devanagari shaping. Use it to request the right language variant, not as a font repair.
Make sure a retest is fresh
URL2PNG documents a default screenshot TTL of 2,592,000 seconds (30 days) and a unique option to force a fresh screenshot by varying the request. When testing a changed stylesheet or font setup, ensure you are not looking at an older cached image. The documented ttl default and unique behavior are in the Quickstart Guide; the plans page also says cached screenshots are retained for 30 days by default.

Do not confuse capture dimensions with font fixes
The quickstart lists a default viewport of 1480×1037 and fullpage defaulting to false. Changing viewport or full-page capture can affect what appears in the image, but it does not repair font coverage or loading.
