To unrestrict the Stellarwave Melody Rod in Fisch, complete the follow-up quest called Final Convergence: catch a Sparkling Aurora Isonade, activate all five Astral Anomalies, catch 12 specified fish with an accepted cosmic mutation, then return to the quest NPC to turn in the quest. The restricted rod and its unrestriction are separate steps.
How to unrestrict the Stellarwave Melody Rod
Guides updated August 25, 2026, describe Final Convergence as a four-part checklist. Complete each requirement and finish the hand-in; merely obtaining the restricted rod does not remove its restriction. Quest details can change with Fisch updates, so use the live quest text as the final authority.

Catch the required Sparkling Aurora Isonade
The required fish is specifically a Sparkling Aurora Isonade, not an ordinary Isonade. NerdsChalk’s guide specifies using the Stellarwave Melody Rod with Truffle Worm bait at a whirlpool while a Rainbow is active. AllThingsHow independently corroborates the required catch, but its accessible instructions do not establish each of those conditions.

Activate all five Astral Anomalies
Activate all five telescopes. NerdsChalk says this involves crafting the required lens and charging the batteries; its guide warns that leaving even one telescope inactive prevents completion. Track the activations as you go rather than assuming that visiting a telescope counts.

After completing the catch, telescope, and mutated-fish requirements, return to the quest NPC and complete the hand-in. The guides identify this as the step that removes the restriction.

What to check if the quest is still incomplete
- Isonade: Confirm that the catch was the Sparkling Aurora variant, not a regular Isonade. If following NerdsChalk’s specific method, use Truffle Worm bait at a whirlpool during an active Rainbow.
- Telescopes: Verify all five Astral Anomalies are activated; the guide says one missed activation leaves this requirement unfinished.
- Fish: Check that you caught every species on the list and that each catch has one of the accepted mutations. The mutation on one fish does not satisfy the requirement for a different species.
- Turn-in: Revisit the quest NPC after the other requirements are complete and finish the hand-in.
- Quest wording: If a requirement or species name differs in your game, follow the current in-game quest text because Fisch updates may alter quest details.
Unrestricted Stellarwave Melody Rod stats
NerdsChalk and AllThingsHow report the following values for the unrestricted rod. These are guide-reported game stats, not independently tested figures.
| Stat | Reported value |
|---|---|
| Lure speed | 88% |
| Luck | 244% |
| Control | 0.1 |
| Resilience | 30% |
| Max kg | Infinite |
| Progress speed | +24% |
A broader Fisch Wiki guide also lists 188 m line distance and a 0.8× fish weight multiplier, but those figures are supplementary: the two focused unrestriction guides do not list them. The wiki page’s publication date is not stated, so treat these as less firmly corroborated than the six values above.

How the rod’s zodiac mechanic works
AllThingsHow describes 12 zodiac signs displayed around the rod and a sequence of inputs to click. Correct inputs add progress, and progress on the signs carries over between catches. This mechanic is described by a guide, not official Fisch documentation.

The quest requirements and primary stats above are reported by two nonofficial guides updated August 25, 2026: NerdsChalk’s unrestriction guide and AllThingsHow’s guide. The supplementary line-distance and weight-multiplier figures come from the Fisch Wiki rod guide. None of these sources is official Fisch documentation.
