Under ₹25,000, Choose the Infinix Note Edge for Display and Battery—or Redmi for Cameras

There is no clear winner without checking the live price of the exact Indian model. On specifications, the Infinix Note Edge 5G suits buyers who want a sharper display and larger stated battery; the Redmi Note 15 5G offers more camera flexibility, including optical image stabilization (OIS) and 4K recording on its main camera, plus Xiaomi’s stated IP protection. Treat those as feature-based trade-offs, not proof of which phone takes better photos or lasts longer in everyday use.

Make sure the Redmi is the Note 15 5G, not the separate 4G model. Reported prices vary by source and configuration, so confirm the seller, RAM and storage, offers, and final checkout price before deciding whether either fits a ₹25,000 budget.

Which display and battery suit you?

Choose Infinix for the higher stated resolution and capacity

The Infinix is listed with a 1.5K display, while Xiaomi specifies FHD+ for the Redmi. The Infinix also has the larger stated battery: 6,500mAh versus 5,520mAh. These specifications make it the stronger paper choice if screen detail and battery capacity matter most.

AGM Note N2 Smartphone for T-Mobile ONLY, 4.96" Compact 4G Cell Phone | Android 16 Go, 6GB RAM (3GB+3GB virtual), 32GB ROM, 256GB expandable, Removable 3000mAh battery, Dual SIM 4G, 3.5mm Jack
  • Compatibility Notice: Requires physical nano-SIM card. ONLY works with T-Mobile's native network. Does NOT support MVNOs (Mint Mobile, Metro, Red Pocket, Cricket, Boost) or other carriers (AT&T, Verizon).
  • Compact 4.96" Display for Easy One-Handed Use: The AGM Note N2 fits naturally in one hand and slips easily into any pocket or bag. The compact 4.96-inch screen makes it effortless to check calls, texts, and messages on the go — a practical daily phone, backup device, or travel companion for anyone who prefers a smaller, more manageable smartphone. Features 1 rear camera (5MP) and 1 front camera (0.3MP) for everyday photos and video calls.
  • Android 16 GO for Simple Daily Communication: Powered by Android 16 GO Edition, the AGM Note N2 handles everyday essentials smoothly — calls, texts, browsing, email, and video chats. Designed for essential daily tasks. Not recommended for heavy multitasking, graphic-intensive apps, or mobile gaming.
  • Removable 3000mAh Battery + 3GB RAM + 32GB Storage: Unlike most modern smartphones, AGM Note N2 features a removable battery — easy to replace when needed, giving you more flexibility for long-term use. 3GB RAM supports smooth everyday performance for calls, messages, and browsing. 32GB internal storage expandable up to 256GB via microSD.
  • Dual Nano SIM — Flexible for Work, Travel, and Backup Use: Manage two phone numbers on one compact device — ideal for keeping work and personal lines separate, staying connected while traveling, or using as a reliable backup phone. Includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for a complete everyday experience.

Capacity does not establish real-world battery life. Screen settings, network conditions, software, and use all affect endurance. 91mobiles reported that the Infinix went from 100% to 20% in 15 hours in its PCMark battery-drain test in 2026; that is one review’s result for the Infinix, not a comparable result for the Redmi or a promise of everyday runtime. See the review.

Do not treat peak brightness numbers as a direct verdict

The comparison database reports 4,500 nits peak brightness for Infinix; Xiaomi lists up to 3,200 nits for Redmi. Because those claims may use different measurement conditions, they do not show which screen will look brighter in ordinary indoor or outdoor use.

Which phone offers more camera flexibility?

The Redmi has the more versatile camera setup on paper. Xiaomi lists a 108MP main camera with OIS and 4K recording, while comparison coverage reports an 8MP ultrawide. The Infinix is reported to have a 50MP main camera and no ultrawide. An ultrawide provides a different framing option, and OIS can help steady the main camera; neither megapixel count nor the feature list alone establishes which phone produces better images.

If you often shoot video or want an ultrawide option, the Redmi’s listed hardware gives you more to work with. The available sources do not establish a controlled camera comparison between these exact Indian models.

How should you weigh performance and software?

The phones use different processors: the Infinix has a MediaTek Dimensity 7100, and Xiaomi lists a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 for the Redmi. A comparison database reports higher benchmark scores for the Redmi, but those figures are secondary-source evidence rather than a controlled head-to-head test. Chipset names alone are not enough to promise that one will feel faster in your apps or games.

Software details can change with updates and vary by unit or region. A 91mobiles review describes the Infinix as running Android 16-based XOS 16. Xiaomi’s current product page describes HyperOS 3, while Android Central’s review table lists HyperOS 2/Android 15. Check the version shown on the phone you are buying and confirm the update policy for that exact model.

What do the durability claims mean?

Xiaomi’s India product page claims IP65/IP66 dust and water resistance for the Redmi Note 15 5G. That is a manufacturer claim and does not mean the phone is waterproof. The available comparison database reports IP65 for the Infinix, but an official Infinix certification was not confirmed in the sources here. Check the documentation for the exact regional model before relying on either rating.

Xiaomi also cites a Counterpoint study from 2025, saying 37% of issues were resolved for less than ₹1,000, compared with an industry average of 28%, and 52% were resolved within four hours, compared with 47%. These are Xiaomi’s presentation of repair-related figures; they do not directly measure either phone’s durability.

Does either phone actually cost less than ₹25,000?

Reported prices conflict, and the available sources do not establish a current, universally available price for either phone below ₹25,000. One comparison article gives ₹21,999 for the Infinix and ₹22,999 for the Redmi; other coverage reports different prices, including ₹24,999 for a Redmi 8GB/256GB configuration. The figures may reflect different dates, variants, listings, or offers, so do not treat them as current prices.

Before buying, check the final price for the exact 5G model, RAM and storage configuration, seller, and any bank or exchange offer. If an offer is required to cross below ₹25,000, include its eligibility and terms in your budget calculation.

Which one should you buy?

Pick Infinix Note Edge 5G if

  • You value the listed 1.5K display more than the Redmi’s FHD+ panel.
  • You prefer the larger stated battery capacity.
  • The exact configuration you want is available within your budget.

Pick Redmi Note 15 5G if

  • You want the greater camera flexibility of a main camera with OIS and 4K recording, plus the reported ultrawide.
  • You value Xiaomi’s stated IP65/IP66 protection, while recognizing that it is not waterproofing.
  • You want microSD expansion, which Android Central reports for this model, and have confirmed it applies to the exact variant you are buying. Source

If neither exact model and configuration is currently under ₹25,000, do not force a winner based on older or unclear pricing: either adjust the budget or wait for a verified offer.
