Here is what the September 2026 lists agree on. Ichigo True Bankai and Undyne lead Destructoid’s sword ranking. Araya and Procurator are the damage-focused ability picks. The World Over Heaven is the style that pairs damage with Time Stop control. Roblox Den ranks many of the names differently, so this guide attributes each pick to its source instead of blending them into one false consensus.
These are fan and editorial assessments, not an official balance chart, and none of the sources publish verifiable DPS figures. The picks reflect the meta as of late September 2026, including Update 2.1. Check them in-game after later patches.

How these tier lists differ
Before comparing names, compare what each list measures. Mixing criteria is the main reason the lists seem to contradict each other.

Best sword in Legacy Piece
Destructoid’s top tier: Ichigo True Bankai and Undyne
Destructoid puts both in its highest weapon tier, and the practical difference is setup versus convenience.
#1 Best Overall

- Ichigo True Bankai: needs setup and stacking, but Destructoid says it can out-damage Undyne across a full rotation. It suits players who will execute the buildup.
- Undyne: its special mode adds large damage and damage-reduction benefits, and its moves cast quickly. It suits players who want strong output with less ramp-up.
Other meta swords on Destructoid’s list
Destructoid also ranks Acherin, Solemn Lament, Ichigo/Zangetsu (Bankai) and White Reaper among its meta swords. That makes the True Bankai version a clear upgrade target over the base Zangetsu form in that list’s framing.
Roblox Den disagrees
Roblox Den places Chihora, Geburo, Pure Love and War General at S for weapons and says the ratings rest on overall DPS. Neither Destructoid leader appears among those four S-tier names. If you want a damage-first pick, Roblox Den’s list is the one built for that question. If you weigh PvP and PvE together, Destructoid’s is the better fit.

Best ability in Legacy Piece
Araya versus Procurator
The Legacy Piece Guide’s September overview names both as high-damage abilities and frames the choice as a trade-off.
- Araya: the simpler, more repeatable high-output rotation. Choose it for a clear damage loop.
- Procurator: a more involved, phased kit that can compete on damage but takes more practice. Choose it if you are willing to learn a technical rotation.
Roblox Den’s ability tier
Roblox Den ranks Shinru, Benimaro and Limitless Vessel in its top ability tier and notes that utility buffs can influence placement. Treat it as a second opinion that values support effects, not as a correction to the damage-focused comparison above.
Rank #3
- Redemption: Online only. Robux cards can only be redeemed in a browser at Roblox.com/redeem. They cannot be redeemed in the Roblox mobile app or any video game console.
- Multipack of two physical $25 Roblox gift cards.
- Roblox is an immersive platform for connection and communication. Every day, millions of people come to Roblox to create, play, work, learn, and connect with each other in experiences built by our global community of creators.
- Get more with every Roblox Gift Card! From now on, when you redeem a Roblox gift card, you get up to 25% more Robux. Perfect for gaming, creating, and exploring- more Robux means more possibilities!
- Deck out your avatar and unlock additional perks in your favorite experiences when you use Roblox Gift Cards to purchase Robux (Roblox's virtual currency).
Best style in Legacy Piece
The World Over Heaven is a style, not an ability, so compare it only against other styles. The September guide values its Time Stop control as well as its damage support. That makes it attractive when PvP control or boss openings matter.
Roblox Den ranks One-Eyed Ghoul, Strongest Saiyan and Hero Hunter highly. It describes Strongest Saiyan’s value as support and mobility rather than primary damage. Judge styles on three things: damage, control or support utility, and fit with the rest of your build.
Rank #4
![Roblox Digital Gift Card - 5,250 Robux [Includes Exclusive Virtual Item] [Digital Code]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41TsWfyqleL._SL160_.jpg)

How to choose for your build
| If you want… | Look at | Why (per source) |
|---|---|---|
| Highest sword damage over a full rotation and will set it up | Ichigo True Bankai | Destructoid: can exceed Undyne but needs setup and stacking |
| Strong damage plus survivability, with fast casts | Undyne | Destructoid: special mode adds damage and damage reduction |
| A repeatable ability damage loop | Araya | Legacy Piece Guide: simpler rotation |
| A high-skill-ceiling ability | Procurator | Legacy Piece Guide: phased kit, more practice |
| Control and boss openings | The World Over Heaven (style) | Legacy Piece Guide: Time Stop plus damage support |
| Pure DPS weapons by Roblox Den’s measure | Chihora, Geburo, Pure Love, War General | Roblox Den S tier, based on overall DPS |
| Support and mobility | Strongest Saiyan (style) | Roblox Den: valued for support and mobility, not primary damage |
Weigh these factors in order:
- Can you finish the build? The Legacy Piece Guide cautions that a complete, usable rotation beats an ambitious route you cannot complete. Treat Ichigo True Bankai and Undyne as endgame weapon targets, not day-one goals.
- PvE or PvP? Control tools like Time Stop matter more in PvP and boss fights than raw sustained damage does.
- Setup tolerance. Stacking and phased kits reward practice and punish sloppy execution.
- Survivability. Damage reduction can matter as much as extra output.
Update 2.1 and how long these picks will hold
MrGuider reports that Update 2.1 released on September 21, 2026 and added Chad and Queen of Hatred. The Destructoid ranking is dated September 14, a week before that update, so it cannot reflect the new content. MrGuider’s own disclaimer says its list is subjective and can change with balance changes, discoveries and playstyle. If a patch has landed since late September, treat every tier above as provisional.
