The UGREEN Nexode Air Slim X865 is a travel-friendly 65 W charger with three ports and a thin profile. Its main trade-off is shared power: USB-C1 can supply up to 65 W on its own, but drops to 45 W when another port is used. That makes it useful for charging several compatible devices from one outlet, but less suited to keeping a demanding laptop at full speed while other devices charge.
What the X865 offers
UGREEN describes the Nexode Air Slim as a 65 W GaN charger with two USB-C ports, one USB-A port and a foldable plug. The 65 W figure is the maximum total output, not 65 W for every port at once. UGREEN lists support for PD 3.2/3.0, AVS, PPS, QC 3.0, FCP, AFC, Apple charging and BC 1.2, along with over-temperature, over-current, over-voltage, under-voltage and short-circuit protections. How much power each port gets
Notebookcheck’s review of the EU Type F version reports these maximum port outputs and allocations:

These are port allocations, not a guarantee that every attached device will charge at its maximum advertised rate. When a laptop and phone charge together from USB-C1 and USB-C2, for example, the review’s allocation gives the laptop port up to 45 W and the second port up to 20 W. Check the computer’s power requirements: 45 W may not be enough for a high-performance laptop under heavy load.

UGREEN says a brief interruption can happen when a new device is plugged in while the charger redistributes output. Its product page describes this as normal behavior during adjustment.
Size, plug and heat
Notebookcheck’s 2026-08-26 review measured the EU Type F model at 112 g and 86.9 × 53.2 × 14.5 mm, with a maximum folded height of 28 mm. Those measurements apply to that regional version: the review notes that the US Type A model’s blades fold into the chassis, so its folded shape differs.

In its full-load testing, Notebookcheck observed temperatures approaching 65°C in some areas and a slight reduction in charging power after several minutes. These are observations from the publication’s tested unit and conditions, not a universal result or a safety determination. They are worth considering if you expect to draw high power for long periods.
Who is it best for?
A good fit for travel and everyday multi-device charging
The slim design and three ports are useful when outlets are awkward to reach or when you want to charge a laptop, phone and earbuds from one socket. The trade-off is that power is shared as soon as more than one port is in use. UGREEN’s 65 W charger guide also explains that multi-device output is divided.

Less suitable for sustained high laptop loads
If your laptop needs close to 65 W while working hard, the X865’s 45 W main-port allocation in multi-port use may be limiting. For one device at a time, a single-port 65 W charger may be simpler; for several devices, the X865 trades individual port power for the convenience of a shared outlet charger.
What to check before buying
- Confirm the exact plug version sold for your region; the review’s dimensions and measurements are for the EU Type F model.
- Compare the laptop’s recommended input with the X865’s 65 W single-port and 45 W multi-port USB-C1 allocations.
- Check the charging profiles supported by each device, since protocol support alone does not guarantee a particular charging speed.
- Allow for a suitable cable if needed. UGREEN says a 60 W-rated USB-C cable can limit a 65 W charger to 60 W; Notebookcheck lists the EU package contents as the charger only.
- Verify current stock and price with the retailer. Notebookcheck reported a €50 suggested retail price in its EU review context, not a current or global price.
Verdict
The X865’s strongest case is its slim, three-port design for travelers and anyone who wants to charge several compatible devices from one outlet. Its key compromise is clear: USB-C1 provides 65 W alone but only 45 W when another port is active. That is a practical setup for many everyday devices, but buyers who need sustained high wattage for a laptop should prioritize the power their computer actually requires.
