But UGREEN’s published specifications do not establish a model-specific AI feature set or AI performance. That makes it easier to judge as an unusually connected NAS than to call it an “AI powerhouse.”

UGREEN gives a maximum capacity of 208 TB, calculated as six 32 TB SATA drives plus two 8 TB NVMe drives. That is a manufacturer capacity calculation, not a promise that every drive combination or configuration will deliver that usable space. RAID, formatting, and storage setup affect available capacity. The system is diskless, so drives and SSDs are separate purchases. UGREEN’s product page lists the specifications and configuration details.
Is it an AI powerhouse?
Not on the evidence in UGREEN’s product listing. The page names UGOS Pro and advertises Docker, virtual machines, and business apps, but it does not identify an AI package for this model, supported AI models, an acceleration method, local inference speeds, or practical limits. A capable processor and expandable memory can make a NAS more versatile, but they do not by themselves prove a particular AI workflow will run well.

For an AI-focused purchase, look for a documented software feature and a workload-specific demonstration or independent benchmark. Without those, treat “AI powerhouse” as an unverified characterization—not a confirmed capability of the DXP6800 Ultra.
Who is the hardware aimed at?
UGREEN says the system is intended for “creators, advanced users, and small teams who need high performance and expandability.” Its examples include large media files, Docker containers, virtual machines, and fast access over 10GbE or Thunderbolt 4. Those are manufacturer positioning statements; they do not establish software maturity or measured performance.

Creators working directly from a workstation
UGREEN describes Thunderbolt 4 as suited to direct-connected tasks such as local video editing and large file transfers. That may be relevant if the NAS will sit near a workstation and connect directly to it. Whether a particular editing workflow benefits depends on the complete setup, including storage configuration, computer, cables, and workload.

Teams sharing files over a network
UGREEN positions 10GbE for shared or multi-user access across a local network. Choose this route when several devices need to reach the NAS through the LAN. The product page says the two 10GbE ports can be aggregated for 20G bandwidth, but that is a vendor claim about the connection configuration, not an independently verified transfer rate. Network design, clients, disks, and workload all affect real throughput.

Advanced users running services
UGREEN advertises Docker and virtual machines alongside UGOS Pro. These features may suit people who want a NAS to host additional services, but the listing does not provide enough detail to assess the maturity, compatibility, or limits of individual applications. Confirm that the software you rely on is supported before making the NAS the center of a production workflow.
What will it cost to equip?
At access on October 7, 2026, UGREEN’s U.S. product page listed the diskless unit at $1,449.99. This is a time-specific listing, not a guaranteed current price or a stable MSRP. The total system cost will be higher after adding storage drives and, if needed, NVMe SSDs or compatible memory. Check the live page and compatibility list before purchase.

The available product information is enough to describe the manufacturer’s specifications and intended workflows, but not to judge real-world performance. UGREEN’s product page showed “No reviews” at the time it was accessed; that reflects the state of that page only, not the absence of independent reviews elsewhere. No hands-on results are established here for transfer speeds, noise, power use, software behavior, or AI workloads.
