Tom’s Hardware reported a $37.79 Amazon price for UGREEN’s 10-port Gigabit PoE+ switch on September 30, 2026, calling it a record low against a $49.99 reference price. That offer is not confirmed as live: UGREEN’s US product page showed $59.99 and “Sold out” on October 3, 2026. Check Amazon’s current price and stock before treating it as an active deal.
The switch has eight PoE+ ports for powered devices and two Gigabit uplinks. Its key limit is a shared 60W PoE budget: although an individual port can support up to 30W, the switch cannot supply 30W to all eight ports at once.

#1 Best Overall
- More Ports, PoE Ready: UGREEN ethernet switch offers 8 PoE+ (802.3at/af) Gigabit ports (up to 30W each) and 2 Gigabit uplink ports, with a total power budget of 60W. Ideal for efficient power delivery and seamless network connectivity
- Intelligent Power Management: If power exceeds 60W, it cuts ports in priority order (8–1) to prevent overload. It auto-detects PoE devices, supplies power to them, and transmits data only to non-PoE devices. Short-circuited ports shut off independently
- PoE Auto Recovery: In Extend Mode, ports 1–6 automatically detect and restart powered devices (such as cameras or access points) when they go offline or freeze, ensuring stable PoE operation without manual monitoring or restart
- One Touch, Three Modes: The unmanaged ethernet switch can easily switch between Standard, Port Isolation (VLAN), and Extend with one button. Port Isolation separates ports 1–8 to prevent network storms. Extend mode supports PoE up to 820 ft, ideal for security systems and long-distance deployment
- High-Speed, Low Latency: The ethernet splitter offers 1000Mbps connectivity for real-time, lag-free monitoring with security cameras, efficient IP phone connections for work, and enhanced performance for wireless access points across your network
How the 60W PoE budget works
UGREEN specifies up to 30W for an individual PoE port and a 60W total budget shared across the switch. That distinction matters: eight ports do not each get a simultaneous 30W allocation. The connected devices’ combined power demand must fit within 60W. UGREEN says that if demand exceeds the total budget, ports are cut in priority order from port 8 down to port 1.
The powered ports support PoE+ (802.3at/af), according to UGREEN. Before buying, check each endpoint’s PoE standard and expected power draw, then make sure their combined demand fits the switch’s budget. A device with an Ethernet port is not necessarily PoE-powered; it may need its own power supply.

- More Ports, PoE Ready: UGREEN PoE Switch offers 4 PoE+ (802.3at/af) Gigabit ports (up to 30W each) and 2 Gigabit uplink ports, with a total power budget of 60W. Ideal for efficient power delivery and seamless network connectivity
- Intelligent Power Management: If power exceeds 60W, it cuts ports in priority order (4–1) to prevent overload. It auto-detects PoE devices, supplies power to them, and transmits data only to non-PoE devices. Short-circuited ports shut off independently
- One Touch, Three Modes: The unmanaged ethernet switch can easily switch between Standard, Port Isolation (VLAN), and Extend with one button. Port Isolation separates ports 1–4 to prevent network storms. Extend mode supports PoE up to 820 ft, ideal for security systems and long-distance deployment
- High-Speed, Low Latency: The ethernet hub offers 1000Mbps connectivity for real-time, lag-free monitoring with security cameras, efficient IP phone connections for work, and enhanced performance for wireless access points across your network
- Plug and Play, Easy Setup: This plug-and-play ethernet splitter supports full-duplex and half-duplex modes. Indicator lights show the status. And the PoE ports automatically detect whether a connected device supports PoE and supply power accordingly
Port layout and intended devices
The eight PoE+ ports can supply data and power to compatible endpoints over Ethernet. The two separate Gigabit uplinks connect the switch to the existing network, leaving the eight PoE+ ports available for endpoints. All ports are specified for 1000Mbps Gigabit connectivity.
- PoE-powered devices: UGREEN names security cameras, IP phones and wireless access points. These are sensible use cases when their power requirements fit the shared budget.
- Ordinary Ethernet devices: Computers, laptops and routers appear among UGREEN’s compatible-device examples. Tom’s Hardware also mentions NAS drives, printers, TVs and game consoles as devices that can use the switch for network connectivity without drawing PoE.
Modes, setup and physical features
UGREEN lists Standard, VLAN and Extend modes. In the manufacturer’s description, VLAN mode isolates ports 1–8, while Extend mode supports PoE connections up to 820 feet. These are vendor specifications, not independently tested range or performance results. Check whether the mode and distance suit your network layout before relying on them.

This switch is a straightforward fit to investigate if you need several wired PoE+ connections—such as for cameras or access points—and a Gigabit uplink to your existing network. It may be less suitable if your endpoints together need more than 60W, require a different PoE standard, or if you need managed-switch configuration beyond the listed modes. Compare those requirements, the number of powered ports and uplinks, and whether Gigabit is sufficient before choosing a switch.
