Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →For U.S. MMA fans in 2026, UFC Fight Pass is the better fit for combat-sports archives and events from other promotions; ESPN Select is the better fit for a broader sports package. Neither replaces Paramount+ for the main U.S. UFC cards: UFC’s 2026 rights arrangement puts numbered events and Fight Nights there, with some early prelims also available on Fight Pass. Availability differs by country, so check the schedule for your territory.
Where to watch UFC events in the U.S. in 2026
The key difference from older UFC viewing guides is the change in U.S. live-event rights. UFC announced an exclusive U.S. arrangement with Paramount+ beginning in 2026, covering 13 numbered events and 30 Fight Nights as announced annual counts, not a guarantee that every later schedule will match exactly. UFC says this arrangement moves away from the prior pay-per-view model. Read UFC’s rights announcement.

UFC’s October 3, 2026 guide for UFC 332 illustrates the split: early prelims were listed on Paramount+ and UFC Fight Pass, while prelims and the main card were listed on Paramount+ in the U.S. UFC’s current schedule also assigns U.S. main cards to Paramount+. Check the listing for the specific event rather than assuming Fight Pass or ESPN Select carries every live card. See the UFC 332 viewing guide.
What each service is for
UFC Fight Pass: combat-sports archives and other promotions
UFC describes Fight Pass as a service for live combat-sports events, original programming and a fight library. Its U.S. page names UFC, PRIDE, Invicta FC, Strikeforce and WEC among the library’s promotions. UFC’s FAQ also says subscribers have access to more than 200 live events from other promotions and describes early prelim access and exclusive bouts at some PPV events. That FAQ is not a complete guide to the newer U.S. rights schedule, so check the event listing for current availability. Visit the U.S. UFC Fight Pass page or read the Fight Pass FAQ.

ESPN Select: MMA within a broader sports service
ESPN Select consists of ESPN+ content, including MMA alongside other sports and ESPN+ programming. ESPN describes its Select library as containing 30,000+ events, including every LALIGA and FA Cup match, PGA TOUR coverage, NHL games, and selected college and other sports. That is ESPN’s own catalog figure, not an independently audited count. See ESPN Select’s content description.
How the services compare
| What matters | UFC Fight Pass | ESPN Select |
|---|---|---|
| U.S. numbered UFC events and Fight Nights in 2026 | Not the destination for full cards; an event may list early prelims on Fight Pass, as UFC did for UFC 332. | Not the current U.S. destination for these live UFC cards. |
| Combat-sports archives | UFC’s service includes a fight library with named promotions such as PRIDE, Invicta FC, Strikeforce and WEC on its U.S. page. | MMA is part of a much wider ESPN+ sports catalog; no equivalent UFC archive claim is established here. |
| Live events beyond UFC | UFC’s undated FAQ says the service offers 200+ live events from other promotions; check current listings. | ESPN describes 30,000+ events in the Select library in 2026 across sports; the figure is ESPN’s own count. |
| Price shown by official U.S. source | Current U.S. price not stated on the official U.S. landing page referenced here. | ESPN’s 2026 partner page lists Select at $11.99 monthly or $119.99 annually. |
| Best fit | Fans prioritizing combat-sports archives and events from multiple promotions. | Fans who want MMA among a wider mix of sports and ESPN+ content. |
ESPN’s 2026 partner page also lists ESPN Unlimited at $29.99 monthly or $299.99 annually; that is a separate plan, not ESPN Select. Prices are those displayed on the official page and may change, so verify the current offer before subscribing. Check ESPN’s plan and partner information.

Which service should you choose?
Choose Fight Pass for depth in combat sports
Pick Fight Pass if you want a dedicated combat-sports library and live events from promotions beyond UFC’s Paramount+ cards. Its strongest distinction is the combination of archives and other promotions, rather than comprehensive access to current U.S. UFC main cards.

Select makes more sense if MMA is one interest among many and you also want ESPN+’s wider sports programming. ESPN includes many sports in its Select description, but that broader catalog does not make it the current U.S. home for 2026 UFC numbered events and Fight Nights.

Plan around live UFC separately
If your priority is watching U.S. UFC numbered events and Fight Nights live, plan on Paramount+ and consult UFC’s event schedule. Fight Pass may be listed for early prelims on a particular event, but that should not be treated as an all-event rule. UFC says Fight Pass availability and content vary by country; check the local schedule and territory-specific subscription details outside the U.S.
