Those sources do confirm that UCB Asset Management offers three open-end funds and publish fund information, but they do not document a bKash investment workflow. Before using bKash to invest, look for official instructions confirming the service, its steps and its terms.
What is confirmed about UCB and bKash?
UCB Asset Management’s official site describes three open-end mutual funds. The BSEC’s asset-manager registry lists UCB Asset Management Limited, with an issuance date of 3 February 2020, and identifies the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (Mutual Fund) Rules, 2025 among the rules for asset management companies. Neither source, however, explains whether or how bKash supports investing in UCB funds.

The available official information does not establish whether bKash can be used to buy fund units, make systematic investment plan (SIP) contributions, redeem units or link an investor account. It also does not specify any onboarding or identity checks, channel fees, eligibility requirements, payment reversals, complaint handling or investor-record arrangements. Treat “seamless” as an unverified description until an official announcement or product documentation sets out the service and its terms.
How UCB’s three funds differ
UCB’s descriptions indicate different investment approaches. They are broad fund descriptions, not personal recommendations; compare the current scheme documents and consider your own risk tolerance and time horizon.

The exit-load periods above are those displayed on UCB’s site as reviewed on 11 October 2026. The page does not, in the information cited here, provide the full charge calculation or all conditions. Confirm the applicable fee and terms in the current scheme documents before investing or redeeming.
How to read UCB’s NAV and dealing information
UCB’s page displays NAV information dated 8 October 2026 and says it applies on 11 October 2026. It also says purchases and sales do not take place on government holidays. NAVs, dealing schedules and fund terms can change, so check the latest official display and documents for the date you plan to transact. A displayed NAV is not a promise of future value.

What the SIP calculator’s 12% figure means
UCB’s SIP calculator uses an estimated 12% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) to perform its calculations. That is an illustrative calculator input, not a promised, guaranteed or established expected return. UCB also warns that mutual-fund investments are subject to market risk; actual outcomes can differ from an estimate.

- Read the latest prospectus and scheme documents for the fund’s objectives, risks, fees, redemption process and full exit-load conditions.
- Check the current NAV, applicable dealing date and holiday schedule on UCB’s official fund page.
- Choose among equity, fixed-income and Shariah-based equity approaches based on your own circumstances, rather than treating the fund descriptions as suitability advice.
- If you intend to use bKash, verify the service on official UCB or bKash channels. Confirm the exact purchase or contribution steps, eligibility, fees, identity checks, redemption arrangements and how failed or reversed payments are handled before sending money.
Regulatory and launch context
BSEC’s 2023 press release described a proposed initial target of BDT 50 crore for UCB Income Plus Fund: BDT 5 crore from UCB Asset Management and BDT 45 crore intended for general investors. It named Sandhani Life Insurance Company Limited as trustee and BRAC Bank Limited as custodian. These are historical proposed launch figures, not a statement of the fund’s current assets.

Historical prospectus material says BSEC registered UCB Income Plus Fund on 20 February 2023 under the then-cited 2001 mutual-fund rules. That historical reference should not be substituted for current legal requirements or current scheme terms; BSEC’s asset-manager page now identifies the 2025 Mutual Fund Rules.
