Where to try Meta AI glasses at Best Buy
Best Buy’s Meta Lab spaces offer hands-on demos of Meta products, including Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses, as well as personalized fittings and help from dedicated Meta Sales Specialists. Best Buy announced on June 8, 2026, that Meta Lab would begin opening in more than 50 stores nationwide that month, with more locations planned through the summer. The participating-store footprint can change, so check current local details before making a trip. Best Buy’s Meta Lab announcement describes the rollout and demo experience.

At a demo, Best Buy says shoppers can try on Meta Ray-Ban Display and use hand movements to control it. The spaces also include displays for exploring Meta AI prompts and smart mirrors for virtually trying Ray-Ban Meta frame styles and colors. Ask a Meta Sales Specialist for fitting help and to clarify what is available to demonstrate at that location.

- Open Best Buy’s Meta Ray-Ban Display & Neural Band product page.
- Select “Schedule demo” and review the available store and appointment details. You can also check your local Best Buy store page for demo availability.
- Confirm the location and current details before traveling. The product page says purchase is available only after an in-store demo to confirm fit and function.
Best Buy warns that inventory is limited, so the glasses may be sold out or unavailable to buy after your appointment. The page does not say a demo appointment reserves inventory; check availability with the store rather than assuming a pair will be waiting.

What to try during the appointment
Best Buy’s product listing names these features. Treat them as retailer-listed capabilities to investigate during your visit, not as independent test results.
- Fit and viewing: Check how the frame sits and whether the in-lens display is comfortable to look at.
- Controls: Try the Meta Neural Band. Best Buy says it interprets muscle activity using EMG to control the glasses.
- Communication: Ask to try hands-free message viewing and replies, real-time captions, and two-way video calling.
- AI features: Explore the listed Meta AI visual responses and prompts.
- Camera: Ask what camera functions can be demonstrated; the listing specifies a 12 MP camera.
Not every feature or demonstration is guaranteed at every store. Ask the specialist which functions you can try during that appointment and what each requires.

Price and availability
The Best Buy listing displayed a price of $799 when checked for this article. Price and stock can change, so confirm both on the product page or with the store before visiting or buying. Best Buy’s listing is the source for the product details and demo requirement; it is not an independent review.
Best Buy reported that more than 50% of its customers want to see Meta’s AI glasses in person before buying. The company’s June 8, 2026 announcement does not provide a survey sample size or methodology, so this should be read as a Best Buy-reported figure, not a representative measure of all consumers.
