Digital prices, retailer stock, and the exact availability of individual editions can change, so check the storefront before renting, buying, or ordering. A digital rental or purchase may be more practical than a Disney+ subscription if you only want to watch the film once.
Does the Disney+ version support IMAX Enhanced?
Yes. Disney says the Disney+ release is available in IMAX Enhanced, including an expanded aspect ratio for Disney+ subscribers. That means compatible scenes can use more vertical image area than a conventional widescreen presentation.
The audio qualification matters. Disney says IMAX Enhanced sound powered by DTS can be supported by compatible, certified televisions and AV receivers. It does not mean every television, soundbar, receiver, or streaming setup will provide the same audio experience. You also do not need IMAX Enhanced equipment to watch the film.

- Tron (1982): Start here for the original vision of the Grid and the franchise’s foundational digital-world concepts.
- Tron: Legacy (2010): Watch next for the continuation of the Flynn family story and a modern expansion of the Grid.

Is Tron: Ares available to buy instead of stream?
In the United States, current availability data lists both digital and physical alternatives to Disney+. You can check Amazon Video, Fandango At Home, or the Apple TV Store for a digital rental or purchase. DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD editions are also listed.
A physical copy makes the most sense for viewers who want permanent access, collector packaging, or a disc-based home-theater presentation. The 4K UHD edition is a particularly relevant option for viewers who prefer physical media, but confirm the exact disc format, seller, price, and stock before purchasing because those details are not permanent.
