The Toshiba 75C350RP is a 75-inch 4K smart TV sold in Australia, with a Direct LED backlight, the VIDAA U9 platform, three HDMI inputs that support VRR and ALLM, and Freeview Plus tuning. On paper it is a well-equipped large-screen set for a buyer who mostly streams and watches free-to-air TV. Its listed gaming features are real but limited: the specifications do not establish 4K at 120 Hz input, and no publicly visible test data confirms how the picture, input lag or sound perform. This article therefore judges the set on its specifications, listed features and verifiable buying terms, not on how it looks in use.
Who this TV suits, and who should look elsewhere
The 75C350RP makes most sense as a large living-room or bedroom screen for streaming, free-to-air viewing and general console or set-top use at 4K up to the limits of its HDMI 2.0 ports. It is a weaker fit where the buyer needs a confirmed high-refresh gaming display, a specific streaming app that Australian availability has not been checked for, or a set with independently measured brightness and picture performance.

- Likely a good fit: a 75-inch 4K screen for a family room, with mostly streamed content, Freeview Plus broadcast TV and a modest number of external devices.
- Check carefully: console or PC gaming at 4K 120 Hz, a dark room where contrast matters, or a bright room where reflections matter.
- Probably not the right choice: a buyer who needs a particular app to be confirmed on this model before purchase, or who needs verified measured results to justify the spend.
Which 75C350RP this article covers
This review covers the Australian 75C350RP as described in Toshiba Australia’s 2025 model specification sheet and product page. The C350 name is shared by several models sold in other markets, and some of those carry different platforms, connections and speaker output. Figures from those models should not be applied here. When a search result or listing appears to describe a similar suffix, check the model number and the regional platform before relying on it.

| Feature | Listed value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Screen size | 75 inches | Toshiba Australia specification sheet, 2025 |
| Resolution | 3840 × 2160 (4K) | Toshiba Australia specification sheet, 2025 |
| Backlight | Direct LED | Toshiba Australia specification sheet, 2025 |
| Panel depth | 8-bit plus FRC | Toshiba Australia specification sheet, 2025 |
| HDR formats supported | HDR, HDR10, Dolby Vision, HLG | Toshiba Australia specification sheet, 2025 |
| Processor | MediaTek MT9603BAATAC/4 | Toshiba Australia specification sheet, 2025 |
| Local dimming | Not stated | Toshiba Australia specification sheet, 2025 |
A format listed as supported means the set accepts that signal type. It does not show how much brightness, colour or contrast the screen delivers with that content. The sheet’s silence on local dimming means this article makes no assumption about it.
Smart platform and apps
Toshiba Australia lists the smart platform as VIDAA U9. CHOICE’s public page describes the operating system as “VIDAA (Hisense)”, which is a different label for the same platform family. For this model, the manufacturer’s VIDAA U9 designation is the reference to use.
CHOICE’s public specifications name Amazon and Stan as apps. No other app list was publicly visible, so before buying, check the apps you use in the Australian version of the platform, either in a store demonstration or by asking the seller for the current app list.

Responsiveness, advertising within the interface, privacy settings and remote usability have not been independently assessed in the public material used for this article. Those are the points to try in a store or ask about on a return-policy basis.
Connections, tuner and audio
The connection layout is one of the set’s more practical strengths for a single-screen setup, but the HDMI detail matters for a console, soundbar or set-top box.
| Port | Version | Listed features |
|---|---|---|
| HDMI 1 | HDMI 2.0 | VRR and ALLM |
| HDMI 2 | HDMI 2.0 | VRR and ALLM |
| HDMI 3 | HDMI 2.0 | eARC, VRR and ALLM |
| USB | USB 2.0 (two ports) | Media playback and storage |
- Tuner: DVB-T and DVB-T2 digital tuners, an analogue tuner, a seven-day EPG and Freeview Plus.
- Network: Ethernet, plus dual-band Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
- Bluetooth: Bluetooth 5.0.
- Legacy input: one mini AV input.
- Media formats: the sheet lists MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264 and H.265/HEVC, among others.
Audio output is listed as 2 × 15 W, and Dolby Atmos is listed as a supported format. These are specifications, not sound-quality results. If you plan to connect a soundbar or AV receiver, HDMI 3 is the port the sheet identifies for eARC, so confirm the device’s own eARC support before relying on it.

Gaming: what is listed and what is not established
Toshiba Australia’s product page describes Game Mode, Game Deck, VRR and ALLM as gaming features. The page states: “Game Mode packs in top gaming features like ALLM, VRR, and eARC, so your setup’s always ready for action.” That is Toshiba’s own description, not an independent finding.
- Listed on the specification sheet: VRR and ALLM on all three HDMI inputs.
- Not established: a native 4K input at 120 Hz, measured input lag, the VRR range, or how ALLM behaves in practice.
- CHOICE’s public table: the HDMI 2.1 (4K @ 120 Hz) field is blank.
Based on the published evidence, the 75C350RP should not be described as a 120 Hz gaming TV. If a console or PC requires 4K at 120 Hz, the listed specifications do not confirm that path, and you should check the output mode your device needs against the TV’s stated input capabilities before buying.
Size, stand and wall mounting
| Configuration | Dimensions (W × H × D) | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| With stand | 1676 × 1022 × 337 mm | 18.7 kg |
| Without stand | 1676 × 963 × 79 mm | 18.5 kg |
The VESA pattern is 200 × 300 mm. A wall mount is an optional accessory, not included, so the mount you buy must support this pattern and carry at least the TV’s listed weight. The manufacturer’s page also states that an anti-tip clip is included, which helps keep the set stable on a stand or sideboard.
Rank #4
- HI-QLED MINILED: Mini-LED backlighting uses thousands of precise light zones to enhance contrast across the screen, revealing deeper shadows, brighter highlights, and more visible detail. Whether watching movies at night or sports during the day, the picture stays clear and impactful
- NATIVE 144HZ GAME MODE: High refresh performance keeps fast movement fluid and sharp, reducing blur during gameplay and live sports. The quick response helps you stay in control during competitive gaming while making rapid camera shots in shows and movies easier to follow
- DOLBY VISION & DOLBY ATMOS: Experience cinematic HDR with vivid brightness and deeper contrast through Dolby Vision, paired with immersive, room-filling sound from Dolby Atmos—so every scene feels bigger, clearer, and more lifelike from your couch
- AI PICTURE: Advanced AI processing analyzes content scene by scene and automatically optimizes brightness, contrast, and color for a clearer, more natural image. Whether you’re streaming shows, watching sports, or gaming, the picture adjusts in real time to look its best without manual settings
- AI SMOOTH MOTION WITH MEMC: Motion enhancement technology reduces blur and sharpens fast-moving scenes, keeping action crisp and easy to follow. From live sports to action movies and gaming, fast transitions stay smooth and comfortable to watch
Before buying a wall mount, work through these checks:
- Confirm the TV’s VESA pattern is 200 × 300 mm in the Toshiba specification sheet, and match the mount’s listed pattern to it.
- Check the mount’s rated load is at least 18.7 kg, the heavier of the two listed weights, and that the rating applies to 75-inch screens.
- Locate the wall studs or use fixings rated for the combined weight of the mount and the TV.
- If the set will sit on a stand or furniture rather than a wall, use the included anti-tip clip and follow the included instructions.

A Jagat Review video dated 21 October 2025 names the exact 75C350RP. Its description lists specifications, use, power consumption, price and points to consider. We could not open the video page, so we do not cite it for any test findings.
No publicly visible independent measurements were available for peak brightness, contrast, local dimming, colour, viewing angles, reflection handling, motion, input lag, HDR impact or sustained gaming. Any verdict on those areas would be an assumption, so this article does not offer one. A reliable answer on picture and gaming performance needs a full review of this exact model, with test conditions stated.
Before you buy: a checklist
- Confirm the full model number is 75C350RP and that the listing names the Australian platform, VIDAA U9.
- Check that your specific apps are available on the Australian version before you rely on them.
- Match your devices to the HDMI ports: HDMI 3 for eARC, and confirm the output mode your console or PC needs.
- Verify the current price, stock and warranty with the seller.
- Check the wall mount’s VESA and load rating against 200 × 300 mm and 18.7 kg.
- If comparing with other 75-inch 4K sets, use the same criteria for each: measured brightness and contrast, native refresh rate and 4K input modes, measured input lag, app availability, HDMI capabilities, dimensions, warranty and current price, using market-specific model numbers.
Toshiba’s own feature descriptions are useful for knowing what the set is designed to do, but they are not a substitute for measured results, and they should be weighed as product claims.
