Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Proton VPN, Private Internet Access (PIA), NordVPN and ExpressVPN all advertise a way to connect through an Andorra location. The clearest endpoint disclosure comes from PIA, which identifies its Andorra la Vella server as virtual; Proton VPN describes its Andorra servers as Smart Routing locations. NordVPN and ExpressVPN list Andorra, but the reviewed pages do not establish whether their endpoints are physically hosted in the country. A location listing alone does not prove local hardware, accurate Andorran geolocation, or access to a particular streaming service.
What an Andorran VPN IP does—and does not—tell you
A VPN routes your internet traffic through a provider-selected endpoint. Websites and other services generally see the endpoint’s public IP address rather than the address assigned by your internet provider, so selecting Andorra can make your connection appear to come from there.

That apparent location is not proof that the server hardware is physically in Andorra. Providers may use virtual locations, where the endpoint’s IP is associated with one country while the underlying infrastructure is elsewhere. PIA explicitly labels its Andorra la Vella endpoint virtual. Proton VPN describes its Andorra servers as Smart Routing locations. NordVPN’s directory says its network includes physical and virtual locations but does not identify which type its Andorra endpoint is. The reviewed ExpressVPN page also does not specify endpoint physicality.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsIP geolocation databases and online services may not all place an address identically. If you need an Andorran IP for a particular site, app, or account, check that the service recognizes the assigned address as Andorran before relying on it. A VPN location listing is not a guarantee of that result.

VPNs that advertise an Andorra location
The available provider pages establish location availability and some endpoint details, but do not provide independent, comparable speed, privacy, or streaming tests. Treat performance and security statements on provider pages as the providers’ own claims.
| Provider | What its reviewed page says about Andorra | Endpoint type confirmed? | Access condition stated |
|---|---|---|---|
| Proton VPN | Offers Andorran IPs through Andorran Smart Routing servers. | The page calls the servers Smart Routing locations; it does not establish that hardware is physically in Andorra. | Andorra servers require a paid plan; the free plan does not include a free Andorra server. |
| Private Internet Access (PIA) | Lists Andorra in its support location list and describes an Andorra la Vella endpoint. | Yes. PIA calls the endpoint virtual. | Not stated on the reviewed location pages. |
| NordVPN | Lists Andorra as a one-city location. | No. Its directory describes a mix of physical and virtual locations but does not identify the Andorra endpoint type. | Not stated on the reviewed directory page. |
| ExpressVPN | Advertises a location in Andorra. | No. The reviewed page does not establish whether the endpoint is physically in Andorra. | Not stated on the reviewed page. |
How to choose for your use case
If you need an Andorran IP without paying
Proton VPN says its free service does not include a free Andorra server. Its page says a paid plan can provide an Andorran IP. The reviewed information does not establish free Andorra access from the other providers, so check the current app and plan terms rather than assuming a listed location is included at no cost.

If physical infrastructure in Andorra matters
PIA’s Andorra la Vella endpoint is explicitly virtual, so it does not meet a requirement for an endpoint confirmed as physically hosted in Andorra. The reviewed NordVPN and ExpressVPN pages do not confirm physicality; ask the provider or check its current documentation before treating either as local infrastructure. Proton VPN’s Smart Routing description also does not establish physical hosting in the country.
If you want streaming access
A country selection does not guarantee that a streaming service will recognize the address as Andorran or permit access to specific content. The reviewed pages do not provide independent, current compatibility tests for any named service. Proton VPN and ExpressVPN advertise streaming benefits, but those are vendor claims, not comparative test results.

If speed or security is the deciding factor
The reviewed material contains no independent, named comparison of provider speeds or security performance. Proton VPN advertises 10-Gbps servers and says its VPN Accelerator can improve speed by over 400% in certain circumstances; those figures are Proton’s claims, not independent measurements. PIA advertises encryption, a kill switch, leak protection and 10-Gbps capacity, but the reviewed sources do not independently validate those claims. These statements are not enough to establish which provider is fastest or most secure for your connection.

What to verify before subscribing
- Availability in your app: Confirm that Andorra appears in the current app and on the plan you intend to use; provider locations and plan terms can change.
- Endpoint type: If physical hosting matters, find an explicit provider statement about the Andorra endpoint. A country name in a directory is not confirmation.
- Actual IP location: After connecting, check the assigned public IP with a reputable geolocation lookup and, more importantly, test the specific service that needs to see you in Andorra.
- Privacy evidence: Review the provider’s current privacy policy and any relevant independent audit reports. The location pages covered here do not establish comparative privacy performance.
- Devices and simultaneous use: Check support for your operating systems and devices, plus any connection limits that matter to your setup; the reviewed location evidence does not compare these details.
- Performance where you use it: If speed matters, test during your normal use and on your own network. No independent comparable speed result is established by the reviewed pages.
