Microsoft currently lists AMD Ryzen AI 300 and 400 series, Intel Core Ultra 200V and 300V series, and Snapdragon X series among compatible processor families. A laptop carrying an “AI PC” or “Core Ultra” badge is not automatically a Copilot+ PC; the exact processor, memory and storage configuration must meet the thresholds.
Individual Copilot+ features can impose additional hardware, software, language or regional requirements. Microsoft lists Hindi as a supported language for Agent in Settings, while other features may support fewer languages or devices. Availability can also change after purchase, so check the feature’s requirements for the exact Indian model and Windows build.
How 91mobiles tested the eight laptops
The comparison is based on 91mobiles’ measurements and opinions, not independent testing for this article. The publication ran Geekbench AI in ONNX and OpenVINO modes, Cinebench 2026, R24 and R23, Geekbench 6, PCMark 10 and PCMark 10 Extended, CrossMark, the 3DMark suite and CrystalDiskMark. PugetBench for DaVinci Resolve was used where creative workloads applied.

Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Battery figures came from a PCMark 10 video loop at 80% screen brightness. That is a controlled comparison, not a promise of all-day runtime for every workload. Video playback, web browsing, meetings, local model inference, screen brightness and the battery mode you select will produce different results.
Reviewers also used the machines for weeks, including meeting transcription, local image generation, background processing during calls, documents, browser tabs and video. The results below should therefore be read as a combination of published measurements and the reviewer’s reported practical experience.
The tested picks, in detail
Dell XPS 14 (2026): the most balanced Windows AI laptop
For a buyer who wants one premium Windows laptop that handles office work, creative tasks and on-device AI without a major weakness, the Dell XPS 14 (2026) is the clearest starting point. 91mobiles rated it 9.2/10 and described it as the most balanced system in the guide.
- Processor and NPU: Intel Core Ultra X7 358H with a 50 TOPS NPU.
- Graphics: Intel Arc B390.
- Memory and storage: 32GB RAM and 1TB storage in the tested configuration.
- Display: 14-inch 120Hz OLED touchscreen.
- Battery: 11 hours 8 minutes in the stated PCMark 10 video loop.
- Test-time price: ₹2,57,890.
The OLED panel suits photo and video work, while the NPU clears Microsoft’s Copilot+ threshold. The trade-offs are a reflective glossy screen and the absence of a physical webcam shutter. If you work outdoors or in brightly lit offices, the reflection is a practical issue; if camera privacy is important, an external shutter or a software camera cover is needed.
Dell Pro Max 16 Plus MB16250: the workstation for local models
This is the specialist choice for developers, researchers and creators who need large GPU memory rather than a light travel machine. 91mobiles reports an Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX, an RTX Pro 5000 Blackwell GPU with 24GB of VRAM and 128GB of upgradeable CAMM2 memory.
- Local-AI headroom: The 24GB VRAM pool can accommodate larger quantised models and higher-resolution creative workloads than the integrated graphics in thin laptops.
- Published AI result: 15,678 in the review’s OpenVINO quantised test.
- Battery: 7 hours 7 minutes in the PCMark 10 video loop.
- Thermals: The review observed heat under sustained load.
- Test-time price: ₹9,00,000.
The price, weight and heat make it excessive for email, coding and occasional AI features. It makes sense when your software can use CUDA or professional GPU acceleration and the cost of a desktop workstation, external GPU or large-memory upgrade would be higher than carrying this system.

Alongside the suite of features from NVIDIA G-SYNC and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus, you're guaranteed that whatever's on-screen is a distinct viewing delight.
HP EliteBook X G2q 14 AI: portable Snapdragon performance
The HP EliteBook X G2q 14 AI delivered the longest battery figure among the individual machines listed in the review: 11 hours 52 minutes in the controlled video test. Its Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-90-100 is reported to have an 85 TOPS NPU, with 32GB memory and 1TB storage.
- Screen: 14-inch WUXGA touch display.
- Platform strength: Very high NPU capability and efficient operation for mobile work.
- Platform limitation: 91mobiles observed lower graphics results than the Dell XPS 14 and some ARM-on-Windows translation hiccups.
- Test-time price: ₹2,88,116.
Choose it when battery life, quiet mobility and standard productivity applications matter more than maximum graphics performance. Before ordering, check that every specialist app, plug-in, driver and peripheral you rely on supports Windows on ARM or works acceptably through translation.

It suits buyers already committed to macOS tools and local-AI applications that support Apple silicon. The review warns that CUDA-dependent workflows can face friction, so confirm framework and plug-in compatibility before moving a CUDA-based project from Windows or Linux.
Samsung Galaxy Book6 Ultra: value within this tested group
The Galaxy Book6 Ultra was 91mobiles’ value pick among the tested machines, but “value” here is relative to this premium selection, not a claim that it is a low-cost laptop. The tested configuration combines a Core Ultra 7 356H, RTX 5070 with 8GB VRAM, 32GB memory and 2TB storage.
- Battery: 12 hours 57 minutes in the review’s video loop.
- Test-time price: ₹3,10,990.
- Best fit: Buyers who want a discrete GPU, generous storage and strong measured runtime without paying workstation-level pricing.
Its 8GB of VRAM is useful for many creator and AI applications but offers less model headroom than the Dell workstation’s 24GB. Confirm the exact Indian GPU and memory configuration because regional SKUs can differ.
Samsung Galaxy Book6 Pro: the longest-running x86 choice
91mobiles called the Galaxy Book6 Pro the longest-running x86 laptop in its test. The comparison identifies a Core Ultra X7 358H, Arc B390 graphics, 32GB memory, 1TB storage and a 67Wh battery. The review gives a test-time price of ₹1,78,990.

It is a sensible match for buyers who need conventional x86 Windows compatibility and mobility rather than a large discrete GPU. Reported drawbacks include pre-installed software, fewer ports and a higher price than the previous generation. Check whether your desk setup needs a dock and verify the laptop’s USB-C, display-output and charging capabilities before choosing one.
MSI Titan 18 HX AI: maximum gaming hardware
The Titan 18 HX AI is the gaming specialist. Its Core Ultra 9 285HX and RTX 5090 with 24GB VRAM drive an 18-inch 4K Mini-LED display. The tested machine had 64GB memory and 6TB storage.
- Battery: 3 hours 39 minutes in the PCMark 10 video loop.
- Weight: 3.7kg.
- Acoustics: Loud fans under load, according to the review.
- Rating and test-time price: 9.5/10 and ₹6,20,990.
Buy it for plugged-in gaming, 3D work and GPU-heavy local models. Its short battery result, weight and fan noise make it a poor commuter machine even though its performance ceiling is the highest in this list.

TOPS describes potential NPU throughput, not complete laptop performance. Local language models, image generators and video tools may depend more on GPU VRAM, system memory, supported frameworks, storage speed and thermal limits. The review’s results show this directly: the Snapdragon machine led on NPU and battery but trailed the XPS in graphics, while the workstation combined high memory and professional GPU capacity at a much higher price.

1. Start with the applications you actually run
List your operating system, development tools, creative applications, plug-ins, meeting software and peripherals. A Windows-on-ARM laptop can be excellent for productivity yet problematic for an older driver or plug-in. A MacBook can be fast and efficient while creating friction for CUDA-specific workflows. x86 Windows remains the safer default for software with uncertain ARM support.

One-click scans. No signup required.
2. Decide whether you need an NPU, a GPU, or both
An NPU handles supported low-power AI features such as background effects and some local inference. A discrete GPU is generally more important for large local models, image generation, 3D rendering and CUDA- or DirectML-accelerated applications. For model size, inspect VRAM and system memory, not just the NPU TOPS figure.
3. Verify Copilot+ status on the exact SKU
- Record the full processor name, not only “AI PC” or “Core Ultra.”
- Confirm that the NPU reaches 40 TOPS or more.
- Check for at least 16GB DDR5 or LPDDR5 memory.
- Check for at least 256GB SSD or UFS storage.
- Read the requirements for the specific Copilot+ feature and language you intend to use.
Indian catalogues can list the same family with different memory capacities. Acer’s India catalogue, for example, includes AI-branded Core Ultra configurations with 8GB variants; an AI label alone therefore cannot prove Copilot+ eligibility.
4. Compare battery figures only with the method attached
Use the PCMark 10 video-loop results as a controlled reference, not a guarantee. The 12h 57m Galaxy Book6 Ultra result and the 11h 52m EliteBook result were produced under the stated test conditions. Gaming, local inference, high brightness and video meetings can reduce runtime sharply, as the ROG Flow and Titan results illustrate.
5. Check display, ports and upgrade options
Glossy OLED panels can look excellent but reflect windows and overhead lights. Detachable designs trade some traditional laptop convenience for flexibility. Port-limited systems may need a USB-C dock, but the dock must match the laptop’s USB-C or Thunderbolt data rate, display outputs and charging requirements. Verify whether memory and storage are replaceable; the Dell Pro Max’s upgradeable CAMM2 memory is unusual among thin machines.

ARM versus Intel and AMD: which platform is better?
ARM is attractive when low power consumption, long battery life and a quiet chassis matter. The HP EliteBook’s 11h 52m result demonstrates that advantage in this test. The cost is application uncertainty: 91mobiles reported translation hiccups and lower graphics performance than the Dell XPS 14.
Intel and AMD x86 systems remain the safer choice for legacy Windows software, specialist drivers and applications that have not been rebuilt for ARM. They also offer a wider range of discrete-GPU configurations. AMD’s ROG Flow shows that an x86 convertible can provide unusually large unified memory, while Intel systems such as the XPS and Galaxy Book models balance compatibility with efficient integrated or discrete graphics.
Choose ARM for a software-verified mobile workflow; choose x86 when compatibility, graphics tools or peripherals are more important than maximum battery efficiency.
Local language models and AI workloads
For local language models, memory capacity is usually the first filter. Model weights, runtime overhead and context length all consume memory. A 24GB GPU such as the Dell Pro Max’s RTX Pro 5000 offers more dedicated space than an 8GB RTX 5070, while the ROG Flow’s 128GB unified pool can be useful when software can share system memory with the Radeon graphics engine.
Those figures do not guarantee a particular model’s speed or compatibility. Check whether your runtime supports the laptop’s GPU backend, whether quantisation is available, and whether the model can spill into system memory without unacceptable slowdown. The Dell workstation’s reported OpenVINO quantised score is a publisher measurement, not a universal benchmark for every model.
India pricing, availability and buying checks
All rupee figures in this guide are prices at the time of 91mobiles’ testing. The review notes that memory and storage costs rose during 2026 and advises readers to verify prices before purchase. Manufacturer India catalogues are useful for confirming current processor, memory, storage and display configurations, but they do not prove marketplace stock or a specific seller’s warranty terms.
- Match the exact model number and processor suffix to the configuration you intend to buy.
- Confirm RAM, SSD, GPU and display resolution; family names can cover materially different SKUs.
- Check the Indian warranty, service coverage and return policy.
- Price the required charger, dock or external storage if the laptop does not include the ports or capacity you need.
- Recheck Copilot+ eligibility and feature availability immediately before payment.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Buying by the “AI” sticker: It does not establish the 40 TOPS, 16GB and 256GB Copilot+ baseline.
- Comparing battery hours from different tests: Use figures only when the test method, brightness and workload are stated.
- Ignoring software architecture: Confirm ARM compatibility for every essential application and driver.
- Choosing by NPU TOPS alone: GPU VRAM, system memory and supported frameworks can matter more for local models.
- Treating a review-time price as a live quote: 2026 component-cost changes and SKU revisions can move Indian prices.
- Assuming every Copilot+ feature is universal: Language, region, account, software and device requirements differ by feature.
Final buying decision
Choose the Dell XPS 14 (2026) for the broadest balance of portability, compatibility, display quality and AI capability. Choose the Dell Pro Max 16 Plus MB16250 when local models or professional GPU workloads justify workstation pricing. Choose the HP EliteBook X G2q 14 AI for a battery-first ARM workflow after checking application compatibility. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is the specialist convertible for unusually large unified-memory needs, while the Samsung Galaxy Book6 Ultra offers the strongest value proposition within this particular premium test group. Gamers and 3D professionals should look at the MSI Titan 18 HX AI, accepting its weight, fan noise and short battery life.
