What is Toggl Track?
Toggl Track is time-tracking software for individuals and teams. It is available through the web, Windows and Mac desktop apps, Chrome and Firefox browser extensions, and iOS and Android mobile apps. Toggl describes the product as including reporting and integrations. See Toggl’s product overview.
The September 2026 announcement concerns the wider Toggl product experience and its flagship positioning, not the retirement of Track. In its announcement last updated 28 September 2026, Toggl stated: “This change does not mean that Toggl Track is being sunset as a product.”

Is Toggl Track free?
Yes. Toggl lists a Free plan alongside its paid Starter and Premium plans and an Enterprise option. The free plan can let an individual start tracking without an immediate subscription, but check the current plan details against your required team size and features before relying on it.

How much does Toggl Track cost?
The pricing page lists Free, Starter, Premium, and Enterprise, with prices displayed for Starter and Premium and a sales contact route for Enterprise. However, Toggl’s public pricing page and billing help information are not fully consistent. Rather than relying on a single figure, check the current checkout price, billing cadence, and regional terms when you sign up.

For teams, the most consequential cost detail is how licenses are billed: paid subscriptions belong to an organization, and each license is billed, including vacant or unassigned licenses. A team may therefore pay for seats that are not actively tracking time. Review the organization’s license count and remove unneeded vacant licenses. Toggl explains this in its billing help article.

Does Toggl Track integrate with my apps?
Toggl advertises more than 100 integrations, including examples such as Google Calendar, Jira, Asana, Slack, Todoist, QuickBooks Online, Salesforce, and its API.
