TIM has notified some TIM Black customers that their included Deezer Premium benefit is ending and offered a paid replacement. The change is not universal: TIM still lists Deezer in selected plans, and eligibility depends on the specific offer. TIM Black Família dependents have also received a separate notice about losing the benefit.
What changed—and what did not
In a notice for some TIM Black customers, TIM says their free Deezer Premium benefit has ended and offers access for R$17.90 per month, with billing beginning in August under that offer. TIM’s separate notice to TIM Black Família dependents says their free access will end in August and promotes Deezer Family for R$17 per month. These are customer-facing offers, not evidence that every TIM Black customer has lost Deezer.

TIM’s current FAQ and plan pages continue to list Deezer Premium in selected TIM Black and other offers. Eligibility depends on the specific plan and its terms, so the “TIM Black” name alone does not establish whether a line qualifies. TIM has not published a universal list of affected customers or a single end date that applies to every campaign.
The TIM–Deezer partnership has not ended: Deezer announced an expanded partnership with TIM on May 7, 2026. The issue is which plans include the benefit and whether a particular customer’s access remains free. TIM’s notice to some TIM Black customers, its benefit FAQ, and Deezer’s partnership announcement describe those distinctions.

Who may be affected
- Customers who received a TIM notice stating that their included Deezer Premium benefit has ended.
- Some customers on older or renewed TIM Black offers; customers have reported losing access after renewing or changing plans, though those individual reports do not establish a general rule.
- TIM Black Família dependents covered by TIM’s separate notice ending their free benefit in August. TIM says the account holder—not each dependent independently—must activate the replacement family offer.
- Customers whose Meu TIM account no longer shows Deezer as an eligible benefit.
TIM’s FAQ and streaming guidance still list selected eligible offers, so verify the terms for your own line rather than assuming either that every Black plan includes Deezer or that the benefit has been removed from all of them. TIM’s streaming FAQ describes eligibility as offer-dependent.
What customers are criticizing
Individual posts on Deezer’s community forum and Reclame Aqui describe customers who expected Deezer to remain included, were surprised by a proposed charge, or say access disappeared after a TIM Black renewal. Those posts document complaints, not their prevalence across TIM’s customer base or proof that every reported loss had the same cause. For dependents, the change has an additional practical wrinkle: TIM says the titular account holder must activate Deezer Family for the household. A dependent who cannot activate through their own line may need the account holder to act.

These are prices shown in specific TIM customer offers, not a universal Deezer price or a guarantee that every customer receives the same terms. The exact billing date and activation method can vary by campaign; rely on the offer in Meu TIM or the formal notice sent to your line. One TIM page specifies texting DEEZER to 8000, while another customer offer uses QUERO to 4148. Do not use a code from a different campaign. How to tell whether your access ended or failed to activate
A Deezer account showing Free does not by itself prove that TIM permanently removed the benefit. The account may not be linked to the eligible line, activation may still be pending, or you may be signed into a different Deezer account. Conversely, if TIM explicitly says the free benefit has ended and offers a paid plan, that is a commercial change rather than merely an app fault.
- Open the Meu TIM app or website and check the line’s plan details, benefits, and any Deezer notice.
- Compare the listed benefit with your plan regulation, contract, or renewal confirmation. Current marketing pages may describe other plan versions, so use the terms tied to your line.
- If Deezer is still listed as an active benefit, open TIM’s Deezer activation page, choose TIM for a mobile plan or TIM Ultrafibra for residential service, enter your TIM number with area code to receive an SMS, then sign in to the correct Deezer account or create one and complete activation.
- If Premium does not appear, confirm that you are using the Deezer account linked to the offer. TIM advises logging out and repeating activation; try signing in with the account email if phone-number login does not find the right account.
- Allow up to 48 hours for Premium status to be released after activation. If Meu TIM still shows the benefit but Deezer remains Free, contact TIM at *144 from a TIM mobile line or 1056 from another phone. If TIM confirms the benefit is active, contact Deezer support and provide screenshots of Meu TIM showing the line and benefit.
TIM’s activation instructions and benefit troubleshooting FAQ cover the steps and activation delay. Deezer community responses also show that some reported cases involved no active TIM Deezer plan associated with the account, rather than an active benefit failing inside the app: example discussion.

Before accepting a new charge
- Check whether you already pay Deezer directly. TIM says to cancel an existing standalone subscription before activating a TIM-linked offer, or both subscriptions may continue billing. Cancel the direct subscription through its existing billing route; accepting a TIM offer does not itself prove the direct subscription has stopped.
- Read the price, billing start date, and duration shown in your own notice or Meu TIM, then check the first TIM invoice after activation.
- For TIM Black Família, ask the titular account holder to review and activate the family offer if that is the option you want; TIM advertises up to six independent profiles in the cited notice.
- If you do not want the paid replacement, do not accept it. Check the Deezer account’s tier and the next TIM invoice so you can spot any unexpected charge and dispute it with the relevant billing provider.
Which option makes sense?

TIM’s Deezer page describes Premium features including listening without ads and offline playback. Selected current plans still advertise Deezer, but plan prices and conditions vary; consult TIM’s postpaid plan page and current offer list before changing plans. TIM’s cited offer pages do not establish a permanent duration for the discounted Deezer prices.
