It is not a casino, and the company states in its own Terms that the service is not real-money gambling. Whether that description holds up legally is not settled by the available sources, and Thrillzz’s public state-availability information is internally inconsistent. Read the sections on eligibility and legal context before signing up.
What Thrillzz is, and what it is not
Thrillzz Inc. describes its app as a social sportsbook built around predictions rather than wagers placed with cash. Its homepage names NCAA, MLB, NHL, MLS, and tennis among the sports covered, and promotes social picks, Squads, leaderboards, and rewards. The company’s own pages describe the product as a U.S. mobile social sportsbook, and the review below is based on those pages and the company’s terms, not on hands-on testing.

Two naming points matter. First, the title’s word “casino” does not match how the company describes its main app; its official pages use “social sportsbook” and “predictions.” Second, a similarly named “Thrill” or “Thrillz” real-money crypto casino appears in search results. It is a different product and is not covered here. Keep the exact spelling Thrillzz when searching so you reach the correct app.

Making predictions
Users make pregame or live predictions on sports events using virtual Coins. The company’s homepage describes the app as mobile-first and says it is available on iOS and Android. Its homepage FAQ says it is not currently available on desktop, so a browser-based desktop account is not the intended route as of the company’s current pages.

Squads and leaderboards
Squads are the social layer: groups of users who compete and share picks. Leaderboards rank users by performance within the app. The company promotes these as the main reason to return. The sources checked do not publish independent data on how many users take part or how competitive the leaderboards are.
Platform and performance claims
Thrillzz’s own site makes app-rating and state-count claims. No independent audience, payout, or reliability statistic was established, and the state count conflicts with the company’s Terms (see below). Treat the company’s marketing numbers as unverified.
How Coins work
Coins are the app’s virtual currency. The company’s FAQ says Coins can be obtained through welcome and daily rewards, loyalty rewards, promotions, and purchases. The main Terms of Use then set the rules that matter most to a user:

The company’s new-user offer is advertised in the FAQ as a “100% Match up to $100 in Coins package.” It is promotional and can change. Read the offer’s current terms in the app before relying on it; the FAQ summary does not replace them.
Coins, prizes, and the separate Games product
Keep three ideas apart: Coins, prizes, and any sweepstakes or redemption mechanics. The main app’s Terms and the separate Thrillzz Games Terms govern different services and refer to different currencies and awards. The FAQ’s simplified explanation of Coins and rewards is not a substitute for the official rules that apply to a specific promotion.
Thrillzz Games is a separate product with its own terms, currency, rules, and state restrictions. Nothing in the main app’s Terms applies to it, and its exclusion list is different. This article does not evaluate the Games product.

Eligibility: who may use the main app
Age and residence
The main Terms of Use say users must be U.S. residents located in the United States and at least 19 years old, or the higher age of majority in their jurisdiction. The Terms also prohibit access from Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Tennessee, and Washington.
The company’s public lists conflict with its Terms
Thrillzz’s public pages do not match the Terms. The table below shows how the main sources differ.

Because the company’s own sources disagree, do not rely on a state count from its marketing pages. Check the applicable current terms and the in-app location check before creating an account. If you are in a state that appears on one list and not the other, the Terms are the more specific statement, but the in-app check is what the company applies to your account.

Identity verification and responsible-play controls
The sources checked do not establish a general identity-verification requirement for the main app, and they do not describe specific responsible-play tools such as deposit or time limits. Where a verification step or control exists, it will appear in the app’s sign-up and account settings. If either matters to your decision, confirm it there before depositing any money, because the Terms treat Coin purchases as non-refundable.

The honest answer is that the available record does not settle it. Three points frame the question:

The Terms of Use (last revised September 28, 2026) state: “THE SERVICES (AS DEFINED HEREIN) ARE NOT ‘REAL MONEY GAMBLING’, NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO USE THE SERVICES.” This is the operator’s contractual statement. It is not a ruling by a regulator or a court.
- California legislation. The California Gambling Control Commission’s 2025 legislation summary describes AB 831, which updates laws on online sweepstakes and gambling simulators. It prohibits digital methods that simulate gambling in a way that awards or connects participants with prizes of value, subject to stated exceptions. The summary does not say how the law applies to Thrillzz’s specific product, and this article does not make that determination.
- A federal complaint. A complaint filed in California on September 26, 2025 alleges that Thrillzz operated unlawful gambling websites and made misleading legality representations. These are plaintiffs’ allegations. No final court decision was established in the sources checked.
Taken together, the company’s terms are not proof of legality, and the complaint is not a finding of illegality. Anyone deciding whether to use the app in a state where gambling rules are strict should consult a current legal source for that state rather than relying on the operator’s description.
What is and is not established
- Established from the company’s pages and terms: the product’s description, the Coin rules, the age and residence requirements, and the list of excluded states in the main Terms.
- Established from public government and court records: the existence of the 2025 California legislation summary and the September 26, 2025 complaint, including the allegations it makes.
- Not established: whether the app is lawful in any specific state, how California’s AB 831 applies to Thrillzz, the outcome of the complaint, independent performance or user statistics, and the company’s current promotions, which can change.
- Not tested: this article does not report any hands-on use of the app, so it makes no claims about the user experience beyond what the company’s pages describe.
Recheck the Terms, the availability list, and any promotional terms on the day you sign up, because all of these can change.
