In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the Vivaldi Bank is on Hierarch Square in Novigrad, and its owner, Vimme Vivaldi, will swap your florens and orens for crowns. The rates are 1 crown per oren and 3 crowns per floren.
Where to find the Vivaldi Bank
CD Projekt RED’s own publisher article places the Novigrad branch on Hierarch Square and says Vimme runs it. That is the strongest confirmation of the location, though the article dates from 2018.

For wayfinding, a 2026 how-to guide on AllThings. How suggests using the Hierarch Square signpost and heading west. That is secondary-source advice, not an exact route confirmed by the publisher, so treat it as a hint and use your map markers to confirm.
How to exchange florens and orens for crowns
- Go to the Vivaldi Bank on Hierarch Square in Novigrad with the florens or orens in your inventory.
- Talk to Vimme Vivaldi.
- Choose the currency-exchange dialogue option.
- Confirm the transaction.
- Open your inventory and check that the foreign coins are gone and your crown total has gone up.
The reviewed guides do not establish whether the dialogue wording is identical on every platform version, so look for the option that mentions exchanging currency.

The Official Witcher Wiki lists these rates (publication year not stated), and the AllThings. How guide, updated in 2026, reports the same figures.

The Oren reference page notes that orens cannot be spent with ordinary merchants and must be exchanged for crowns at the Vivaldi Bank. Florens are worth three times as much per coin, so a small stack of them yields a noticeably larger crown total. The publisher article adds that the bank also offers loans.
