Choose a comedy to avoid the post-play fight
When Priscilla asks whether the play should be a comedy or a drama, choose comedy. Gamer Guides’ walkthrough, last updated 22 August 2024, says a drama leads to a fight after the performance, while a comedy avoids the riot. The quest still advances to Dudu’s reveal either way.

Complete the optional publicity objective
Visit the Puffins and resolve their problem with their harassers to recruit them for publicity. The guides list 150 XP for resolving the problem, followed by 25 XP and 30 crowns after the show. The confrontation leads to a fight; Gamer Guides describes Axii as an option that earns XP. This optional detour is worthwhile if you want the extra listed rewards.

Pick all five correct lines during the performance
Read the script before starting the performance if you need to check the answers. The timed dialogue choices, in order, are:

Witcher.tools records an alternate wording for the fourth choice: “But a heart that is base…”. For the performance reward, it lists 150 XP and 50 crowns for all five correct lines; three or four correct lines yield 125 XP and 20 crowns, while one or two yield 110 XP. It does not list a reward for getting none correct.
What these choices change—and what they do not
The documented differences concern the local scene, casting, violence and rewards. The guides describe Dudu revealing himself after the play, allowing the quest to progress toward “A Poet Under Pressure.” Witcher.tools reports an overall quest maximum of 1,310 XP and 130 crowns; treat that as the database’s total, not an independently tested result. The sources do not establish that these decisions change the wider game ending.
