EA documents these commands for the PC Legacy Collection. In the familyFunds form, replace [familyName] with the household’s name and [value] with the amount you want to set or add/subtract. For example, the command’s optional plus or minus indicates an adjustment rather than a target balance.

Add aspiration points
Use aspirationPoints to add aspiration reward points to the selected Sim. This supplies points; it does not directly unlock career reward objects.

Unlock career reward objects
Use unlockCareerRewards to unlock all career reward objects for the selected Sim. This is distinct from adding aspiration points. Both commands are listed in EA’s PC Legacy Collection cheat guide.
Do cheats work the same way on PS2, Xbox, and GameCube?
No. Console editions use controller inputs rather than the PC cheat window, and the cited console references say players may need to unlock the Cheat Gnome before other codes take effect. The sequences are platform-specific, so do not enter PC commands such as motherlode into a console as if the keyboard method applied. The available references cover GameCube, PS2, and Xbox but do not establish a fully verified set of every sequence for each platform; check a guide for the exact console edition you are playing. What is the secret movie?
The original-release-era The Sims 2 Prima Official Game Guide says that completing the game’s final Platinum Want unlocks and plays a secret movie: a blooper reel featuring characters from the game. The guide’s excerpt does not specify a platform, so this is best treated as a guide-documented secret rather than a verified instruction for every edition. The Prima guide PDF contains the statement.
