How to interpret “lowest ever”
TechRadar writer Steve Clark described £379 as the lowest price he had observed for this full bundle, with £420 as its previous full-bundle low. That is an attributed observation about this configuration, not proof of the lowest price ever for every reMarkable 2 package or across all retailers.

June 2026 TechRadar coverage reported a different offer: £339.99 for the tablet with Marker Plus, and £439.99 for a bundle that included a folio case. Amazon announced that its UK Prime Big Deal Days event ran on 6 and 7 October 2026 and was for Prime members. Amazon’s event announcement gives the dates; the £379 offer is an event-specific report, not a lasting price guarantee.

Is the reMarkable 2 the right tablet for you?
The appeal is a focused digital writing and reading experience. In the October coverage, Clark preferred the reMarkable 2’s softer writing feel. That is a reported personal preference, not a universal verdict. Consider whether that feel matters more to you than newer hardware advantages.

- You are comfortable checking retailer availability for a model that TechRadar reported had been discontinued after Paper Pure launched.
When Paper Pure may be a better fit
June 2026 TechRadar coverage says Paper Pure is 43 g lighter, has 32 GB of storage and lasts 33% longer on battery than reMarkable 2. It also describes Paper Pure as faster to navigate. The report quotes reMarkable executive Jon Dalvang saying that contrast is 20% better and navigation, opening and closing documents, and page swiping are “up to twice as fast.” These are company-reported comparisons relayed by TechRadar, not results from an independent test here. Dalvang also said Paper Pure was “not a direct replacement” for reMarkable 2.

If you need to write in dim light
TechRadar’s October article points to Paper Pro and Paper Pro Move as better choices for darker environments because they have a frontlight. If frontlighting is a must, check those models’ current availability and specifications rather than assuming the reMarkable 2 bundle provides it.
