The Pitt took Best Drama Series and six additional listed categories, although the Hollywood Creative Alliance’s official winners release contains a counting inconsistency: its headline says seven wins, its opening summary says six, and its category-by-category list contains seven. Hacks won Best Comedy Series, while Beef won Best Limited Series and four other awards.
2026 Astra TV Awards: the leading winners
| Series | Program classification | Officially reported total | Key wins |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Pitt | Drama | Seven categories are listed; the release’s summary sentence says six | Best Drama Series, Streaming Drama Ensemble, acting awards for Noah Wyle, Patrick Ball, Sepideh Moafi and Tal Anderson, plus drama directing |
| Hacks | Comedy | Four | Best Comedy Series; Jean Smart; Hannah Einbinder; comedy directing |
| Beef | Limited series | Five | Best Limited Series; Limited Series or TV Movie Ensemble; Oscar Isaac; Charles Melton; Lee Sung Jin |
| Shrinking | Comedy | Four | Streaming Comedy Ensemble; Jason Segel; Harrison Ford; Michael J. Fox |
The totals above are those reported in the Hollywood Creative Alliance’s official 2026 winners release. For The Pitt, the safest precise description is that seven winning categories are enumerated, while the same release says six in its opening summary. That is an internal inconsistency in the official announcement, not a separately verified correction.

How the Astra TV Awards selected nominees and winners
The 2026 nomination release says nominees were selected by a 50-member Hollywood Creative Alliance nominating committee, with winners chosen by HCA members. That process should not be confused with the prior year: the official 2025 winners release described a 35-member committee of entertainment-industry professionals determining that year’s winners.
