The concern about the lineup’s future is understandable, but it is not yet a confirmed outcome.
Is Samsung making another Galaxy A phone?
Third-party reports have described development clues for the Galaxy A37 and A57. They are clues, not Samsung announcements: they do not establish the identity or launch timing of the next model, and they say nothing definitive about the Galaxy A series’ long-term plans.

November 2025: a possible A57 firmware entry
In November 2025, Gizmochina reported that a model believed to be the Galaxy A57 appeared on a Samsung test server. The report based the identification on a model number and firmware entry attributed to a post on X, and described the identification and expected specifications as tentative. A test-server entry can indicate development activity, but it is not a public product announcement.
February 2026: reported A37 and A57 certification listings
In February 2026, Gizmochina reported that model numbers for the Galaxy A37 and A57 appeared in Singapore IMDA certification listings. That report supports the existence of those reported listings; it does not provide a Samsung launch date or confirm detailed specifications.

What is the next Galaxy A phone?
The next model’s official identity remains unconfirmed by the available reporting. The A37 and A57 appeared in the reported certification listings, while the earlier test-server clue was attributed to a device believed to be the A57. Neither report establishes which model Samsung will introduce next or when.
There is, however, a recent A-series phone readers can use as a concrete reference point: Samsung announced the Galaxy A57 in March 2026, and T3 reports that it is available. It should not be confused with a rumored successor.

What the available Galaxy A57 review says
T3’s review describes the A57 as having a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display with refresh rates up to 120Hz, a 50MP stabilized main camera, a 5MP macro camera, a 5000mAh battery, and wired charging up to 45W. These are review-reported product specifications, not confirmed specifications for a future Galaxy A model.
For the reviewed 8GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration, T3 lists starting prices of £529 in the UK, $549 in the US, and AU$749 in Australia. Prices vary by market and can change; check local pricing before buying.

- Please note, this device does not support E-SIM; This 4G model is compatible with all GSM networks worldwide outside of the U.S. In the US, ONLY compatible with T-Mobile and their MVNO's (Metro and Standup). It will NOT work with other CDMA carriers, and it is also not compatible with their MVNO (Visible, Xfinity Mobile, US Mobile, Cricket Wireless, etc).
- Compatibility with certain third-party devices and accessibility accessories, including some hearing aids, may vary depending on manufacturer support, Bluetooth protocols, software compatibility, and regional firmware limitations. For additional hearing aid compatibility information, please refer to Samsung’s official support documentation.
- Camera: 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/2.76", 0.64µm, AF | 50 MP, f/1.8, (wide), 1/2.76", 0.64µm, AF | 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro). Battery: 5000 mAh, non-removable | A power adapter is NOT included.
The review’s trade-offs matter more than treating the phone as a promise about what comes next. T3 criticizes the zoom and secondary-camera performance, and says the phone is weaker for demanding gaming. The reviewer also says competitors from Nothing and Xiaomi offer greater specifications at similar prices; that is T3’s assessment, not a universal measure of value.
Does this mean Samsung is ending the Galaxy A series?
No such conclusion is established by these reports. Development and certification clues do not prove that Samsung will keep every model or release a successor on a particular schedule, but they also do not show that the company is ending or reducing the Galaxy A series. The lineup’s fate remains unresolved; a firm answer would require an official Samsung announcement or clearer evidence than the reports described here.

A practical note if you are considering the A57
T3 says the A57 does not include a case or factory-applied screen protector, and that its glossy back picks up fingerprints. If you buy one, check that any case or protector is explicitly compatible with the exact A57 model. The review does not establish what charger is included in the box, so confirm box contents and local availability rather than assuming a USB-C charger is supplied.
