Short answer: The New Denpa Men has an offline feature called Offline Catch, but Genius Sonority has not confirmed whether it will still launch after service ends on December 7, 2026, at 11:00 JST. The publisher says the main game requires an online connection, and its shutdown notice does not promise an offline conversion.
What is scheduled to stop working?
Genius Sonority announced on October 5, 2026, that service for THE NEW DENPA MEN will end on December 7, 2026, at 11:00 JST. Any event still running at that time will end partway through. The publisher also says that in-game data, including Jewels and items, will no longer be available after service ends. Read the end-of-service announcement.

The publisher’s FAQ says the main game requires a Nintendo Account and an online connection. That makes the main game server-dependent; there is no official confirmation that it will remain playable once service ends. See the official FAQ.

That remains unconfirmed. Genius Sonority’s FAQ says, “Only offline catch can be played offline.” This establishes that Offline Catch works offline now, but neither the FAQ nor the shutdown announcement says it will remain launchable after the service closes. The publisher has not announced an offline patch or conversion.

What should players do before service ends?
- Use paid Jewels before December 7, 2026. The publisher recommends using them before closure because in-game data will no longer be available afterward. Sales of paid items ended on October 5, 2026, at 11:00 JST.
- Record your Support ID. The publisher says it can be viewed from the app’s title screen through March 31, 2027.
- Keep the app installed and on its current device. Do not delete it or reinstall it on a new device until the refund process for unused paid currency is complete; the publisher says it may need the app data to verify inquiries.
- Watch the official announcement for refund instructions. The request period and procedure will be published after service ends; the October 5 notice does not provide them.
Does switching to the mobile version help?
No. Genius Sonority says the iOS and Android versions do not include Offline Catch or Together Catch, so mobile is not a documented offline workaround. The mobile release supports cross-platform play and account-linked data, but that does not establish continued access after the Switch service ends. See the mobile release notice.

The Switch 2 version shares gameplay and save data with Switch through the same Nintendo Account, and simultaneous play on both devices is not supported. The publisher has not described Switch 2 as a way to bypass the service shutdown. See the Switch 2 notice.
