Rebecca arrives at a mortuary expecting routine work but becomes the victim of demonic possession. The setting keeps the horror focused on embalming rooms, bodies and the isolation of a night shift rather than on a conventional haunted-house location. Epic Pictures lists a February 13 theatrical release for the film; contemporary coverage also reported a release on Shudder. Streaming access can vary by country, so viewers should check the current listings for their territory before assuming the film is available.

How the movie and game differ as experiences
| Aspect | Film | Original game |
|---|---|---|
| Medium | A 91-minute linear horror movie directed by Jeremiah Kipp. | An interactive supernatural horror game developed by DarkStone Digital. |
| Rebecca Owens | The central character in a scripted story about an overnight mortuary shift and possession. | The player controls Rebecca while carrying out mortuary tasks and investigating supernatural events. |
| Mortuary setting | Used as the contained location for the film’s dramatic and supernatural action. | Functions as the player’s workplace, where embalming procedures and exploration drive play. |
| Demon encounters | Presented through the film’s fixed narrative and direction. | Built into a repeatable gameplay structure involving identification and banishment. |
| Outcome | The film provides one edited viewing experience. | The official factsheet lists five different endings and randomized scares, so separate playthroughs can vary. |
Where the original game can be played
DreadXP’s press kit lists the game for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The title’s interactive format means players perform the embalming work, search the mortuary and respond to changing supernatural threats rather than simply watching Rebecca’s night unfold.
