Nintendo lists the game for Nintendo Switch 2 with a November 5, 2026 release date. Check the retailer’s current listing and cart before ordering.
What the reported preorder deal includes
Tom’s Guide reported on September 18, 2026, that Amazon and Walmart had the physical Nintendo Switch 2 edition for about $59, down from a reported regular price of $69.99. The report said the discount appeared after adding the game to the cart. That is a retailer deal report, not confirmation of a Nintendo-sponsored promotion or a price that remains available today. Read Tom’s Guide’s September 18 deal report.
A later snapshot from GamesRadar, dated October 1, listed a $59.88 price against $69.99. The different figures show why it is worth checking the exact retailer and checkout total rather than assuming there is one fixed deal price. See GamesRadar’s October 1 price snapshot.

Check the price and terms before you preorder
- Open the retailer’s listing and confirm that it is the physical Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Ocarina of Time.
- Add the item to your cart if the listing indicates that the discount may appear there. Compare the displayed item price with the reported $69.99 regular price; do not assume a discount until it appears.
- Review stock, delivery or pickup costs, and the final checkout total. A lower item price may not mean a lower total after fulfillment charges.
- Confirm the offer is still active and the expected delivery or pickup timing works for you before placing the order.
Which version is the deal for?
Nintendo’s U.S. store lists a physical Nintendo Switch 2 edition and a separate digital product listing. The cited $10-off report concerns physical editions; it does not establish that the digital version receives the same discount. Compare the format and price on the retailer’s live product page before buying. Nintendo’s official physical product page.
Release date and official product details
Nintendo’s U.S. product listing gives November 5, 2026, as the release date and identifies the platform as Nintendo Switch 2—not the original Nintendo Switch. Nintendo describes this version as “built from the ground up” for Switch 2. Its listing also gives the rating descriptors Animated Blood and Fantasy Violence. Check Nintendo’s product listing.

Is the discount an official Nintendo offer?
The cited $10 reduction was reported as a discount at Amazon and Walmart, not as a Nintendo offer. Nintendo’s U.S. retail-offers page does not show a confirmed Ocarina of Time $10 promotion in the available listing. Treat the deal as retailer-specific and time-sensitive, and verify the current cart price directly with the seller. Nintendo’s U.S. retail offers page.
