In The Legend of Neverland, choose a class by the combat pattern and weapon you enjoy—not by an unverified “best class” ranking. Official descriptions point to ranged spell damage, mobile attacks, elemental gunfire, close katana combat, and energy-powered skills. Scholar also has community-reported support and crowd-control specializations. The game listing says classes can be switched, so experimenting is an option.
What the class descriptions actually tell you
The official class descriptions establish broad identities, not measured rankings. They do not provide comparable class-by-class figures for damage, defense, health, or survivability. The table below compares the combat patterns the available descriptions support.

| Class | Range and weapon | Combat pattern | Documented team utility |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scholar | Ranged magic; magic book | Uses spells to deal damage from a distance. | Community class reference describes Priest as a buff-and-heal route and Judge as a crowd-control route. These specialization details are community-reported and may vary by version. |
| Ranger | Bow-style ranged attacks | Emphasizes mobility, agility, and targeting enemy weaknesses for a quick kill. The official site says: “Rangers have unparalleled mobility and agility, they find the weakness of the enemy and move to kill in one shot!” | No specific support role is established in the cited descriptions. |
| Craftsman | Gun-based attacks | Applies alchemy and four elemental attributes to deliver firepower. | No specific support role is established in the cited descriptions. |
| Gladiator | Katana; close combat | Officially described as excelling in close combat. | No specific support role is established in the cited descriptions. |
| Lancer | Skills and basic attacks build dragon blood energy | Spends that energy to use stronger skills or enhance active skills. | No specific support role is established in the cited descriptions. |
Names are not fully consistent across references: the official site calls its katana class “Gladiator,” while a community reference uses “Warrior” for the sword weapon. Treat those labels as source- and version-specific rather than assuming they are universal.
Which class fits the way you want to fight?
Choose Scholar for spellcasting, with a documented support route
Scholar is the clearest choice if you want to attack from range with magic. The community reference identifies Priest as the Scholar route for buffs and heals, and Judge as a crowd-control route. That supports choosing Scholar when you want one of those functions, but it does not establish that Scholar is the strongest or best support class overall.

Choose Ranger if mobility matters most
Ranger’s stated identity centers on agility, movement, and exploiting weaknesses for a quick kill. Consider it if you prefer a mobile ranged combat pattern over holding a close-combat position. The official description is promotional, not evidence of a tested one-shot damage result.
Choose Craftsman for elemental gunfire
Craftsman combines a gun with alchemy and four elemental attributes. Choose it if that weapon-and-element combination is more appealing than spellcasting, a bow, or a melee weapon. The description does not quantify how its damage compares with other classes.

- The Promised Neverland Figure from SEGA!
- Base Stand included
- Official Licensed Product
- The Promised Neverland
Choose Gladiator for katana-based close combat
Gladiator is the official site’s katana class and is described as excelling at close combat. It is the natural fit if you want a melee weapon style; the available description does not establish a survivability advantage.

Choose Lancer for an energy-building skill cycle
Lancer’s defining mechanic is building dragon blood energy through skills and basic attacks, then spending it on stronger skills or enhanced active skills. Choose it if you like a combat loop built around building and using a resource, rather than judging it by an unsupported damage tier.

What can you conclude about damage and survivability?
You can compare the stated damage patterns—ranged spells, mobile attacks, elemental gunfire, close combat, and energy-powered skills—but not their objective performance. The official material reviewed gives no named, quantitative comparison of damage, defense, health, or survivability. It therefore does not support a claim that one class is strongest, toughest, or safest to play.
Likewise, the Scholar Priest’s documented buffs and heals indicate a support option, not proof that it is the best support choice for every activity. For a decision based on durability or current skill balance, consult up-to-date in-game stats and skills rather than inferring toughness from a weapon or class description.

Can you switch classes or weapons?
The official Google Play listing says players can switch classes and weapons, and describes cooperative PvE dungeons and boss encounters. That makes trying a different role a reasonable approach if your first choice does not suit you. The store listing does not specify all conditions or restrictions for switching.
A community wiki additionally says players can equip two weapon types and switch between them in battle, and choose a secondary class at level 58. Those are community-reported mechanics, not details confirmed by the cited official listing; check the current in-game menus for exact availability and unlock requirements.
