There is no single best class in The Legend of Neverland: the right pick depends on whether you prioritize survival, straightforward damage, PvE, or PvP. For a beginner who wants durability, choose Gladiator (Warrior); for an accessible damage path, choose Lancer. Pocket Gamer’s class guide places Dragon Knight and Dragon Fighter (both Lancer specializations) among its top picks in both PvE and PvP. The game’s official Google Play listing says you can switch classes at any time, so this is a playstyle decision rather than a permanent commitment.
How to choose the best class
Start with the kind of play you enjoy. Gladiator is the survival-focused beginner option; Lancer is the more direct damage choice. Ranged damage rewards positioning, while some classes are more specialized for one game mode than another. The recommendations below are guide opinions, not the result of a published controlled class test.

| Player or goal | Suggested class | Why it fits | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| New player who values survival | Gladiator (Warrior) | Pocket Gamer describes Gladiator as having the highest HP, giving beginners more room for mistakes. | A separate Pocket Gamer beginner guide favors Lancer, which is easier to frame as an accessible damage path. |
| New player who wants straightforward damage | Dragon Knight or Dragon Fighter (Lancer) | Pocket Gamer describes Lancer as intuitive and easy to learn; its beginner guide calls it strong against enemies with a reliable late-game transition. | The specializations trade damage and survivability, so choose according to your preferred feel. |
| Experienced player seeking ranged damage | Marksman (Ranger) | Pocket Gamer recommends Marksman for skilled players and says it can be the main DPS in many battles. | It is not a top-tier pick in every mode in that guide, and positioning and execution matter. |
| PvE focus | Armorer, Dragon Knight, Dragon Fighter, or Shadow Owl | All four are placed in S tier for PvE by Pocket Gamer. | The guide describes Armorer as weak in PvP and says Ninja may need support in PvE. |
| PvP focus | Blazing Owl, Dragon Knight, Dragon Fighter, or Priest | All four are placed in S tier for PvP by Pocket Gamer. | Ninja is less beginner-friendly, and support and matchup can affect how a pick performs. |

What the class names mean
Pocket Gamer’s September 4, 2026 guide describes six base classes: Warrior, Ranger, Craftsman, Lancer, Ninja, and Scholar. Each has two specializations. For example, Warrior branches into Berserker, described as damage-focused, and Gladiator, the tank-oriented choice. The specialization names in the tier table identify those branches.
Class choice affects more than a label: Pocket Gamer’s beginner guide describes distinct fighting styles, active and passive abilities, weapons, and “Deepen” abilities. That older guide says Craftsman unlocks at level 65, but it does not state a current game version; check the in-game unlock conditions rather than assuming that level is still current. BlueStacks’ older overview discusses class roles such as damage, tanking, mage, and healing, but lists five classes, conflicting with the newer six-class guide, so it should not be used as the current class count.

Can you change classes later?
Yes. The official Google Play listing says players can switch classes at any time. It does not explain whether switching has costs or other restrictions, so check the current in-game class menu for those details before making a change. The listing describes the game as an MMORPG for Android and Windows with PvE dungeons, bosses, and PvP matches.
