Samsung’s March 2026 US MSRP sheet listed the unlocked 256GB S26 Ultra at $1,299.99. That is an official pre-October reference, not confirmation of the later reported $1,399 price. It also differs by 99 cents from the AP’s launch figure, so the sources should not be treated as interchangeable price lists.
Why did Galaxy S26 prices go up?
No direct Samsung explanation for the October increases is established by the available reporting.
