TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 is scheduled for October 13–15 at Moscone West in San Francisco. It is an in-person, three-day event with no single-day badges or online component. For founders, its practical value is access to sessions on company building and technology, startup and investor networking, and the Startup Battlefield 200; whether it is worth attending depends on the sessions and introductions you can use, and the pass access you need.

When and where is TechCrunch Disrupt 2026?

The conference runs October 13–15, 2026, at Moscone West, 800 Howard St., San Francisco, CA 94103. The attendee portal describes the event as in-person only, with no online portion. It also says the event is conducted in American English and does not provide translation. Check the official event overview and attendee portal for updates as the dates approach.

What can founders do there?

The program combines talks and other formats across six stages—Disrupt, Builders, AI, Smart Money, Smart Systems, and Real World AI—with roundtables, breakout sessions, an Expo Hall, networking activations, and Startup Battlefield 200. TechCrunch’s 2026 agenda lists 200+ sessions and 250+ tech leaders; those are organizer-published event figures, not independently audited counts. Its overview also claims 10,000+ attendees and 20,000+ connections made, without stating the measurement methods, and says Startup Battlefield alumni have raised $32 billion cumulatively, without explaining the calculation method. Treat these as TechCrunch’s claims, not guaranteed outcomes for an attendee.

Start with the problem you need to solve

The Builders Stage focuses on founder decisions such as fundraising, hiring, product-market fit, and scaling. Other stage themes include AI systems and enterprise workflows; stablecoins, payments, and financial technology; energy and infrastructure; and robotics and autonomous systems. Rather than trying to cover everything, shortlist sessions tied to a live business question—such as how to finance a round, reach a market, or evaluate a technology.

Choose the right session format

TechCrunch describes roundtables as 30-minute, expert-led small-group conversations and breakouts as 50-minute sessions with Q&A. Talks, roundtables, and breakouts can compete for time, and some activities may have separate access or registration requirements. The portal’s registration and availability details can change, so check the current agenda and attendee portal before building a schedule.

The TechCrunch Events app is described as supporting agenda personalization, meeting scheduling, roundtable registration, and exhibitor discovery. Use it to map sessions around meetings and leave room to visit relevant Expo Hall exhibitors; verify app instructions in the portal.

What is Startup Battlefield 200?

Startup Battlefield 200 is both an exhibitor program and an early-stage startup competition. TechCrunch says 200 selected startups exhibit, with 20 finalists pitching for a $100,000 prize. The organizer describes the 2026 competition as equity-free. For founders, it can offer a concentrated view of new companies and a place to meet other builders; the finalist pitches may also be useful for observing how startups frame a problem and business. The prize and selection figures are event details, not a promise of funding or investment access for attendees.

Which pass should you choose?

Official materials list attendee, founder, and investor passes. The founder and investor categories are intended for their respective audiences, and benefits differ: materials describe variations in stage and breakout access, 1:1 meetings, speaker Q&A, investor-founder networking, and curated investor information. Choose based on eligibility and the specific access you will use, not the label alone.

Official ticket-page snapshots have shown conflicting prices—one listed attendee, founder, and investor passes at $849, $899, and $999; another listed them at $949, $999, and $1,099. The snapshots do not establish which was current, so these figures are not reliable current quotes. Compare the live options and terms on the official ticket page before buying. The attendee portal says there are no single-day or partial-day badges.

How should you plan the visit?

Pick up your badge with matching identification

The portal lists badge pickup at Moscone West for October 12, 1:00–5:00 p.m. PT; October 13, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; October 14, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; and October 15, 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. These hours may change. Bring your ticket and a government-issued photo ID; the portal says the names must match. Confirm the current hours and instructions in the attendee portal before travelling.

Plan for access, lodging, and side events

The portal says Moscone West is ADA accessible and asks attendees seeking accommodations to contact the event team. It also lists a mother’s room and faith room by request; contact the organizer to confirm arrangements. The portal advertises attendee hotel discounts, but its available details do not establish full terms or guarantee rooms. It also refers to 50+ partner and company side events during Disrupt Week, October 11–15, with listings posted as confirmed. Check current event listings for schedules and any separate registration requirements.
