Sofia, Olympia, Fianna, Tialla, and Ultand make a practical five-character healer shortlist for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. Sofia is the strongest pick for dedicated healing; Olympia adds damage, Fianna offers high but variable healing, Tialla is especially useful on Cai’s route, and Ultand provides passive frontline support. This is a guide-based ranking, not an official Nintendo list, and the best fit depends on your route and what you need from a healer.
How to choose a healer
Healing power is only one part of the job. Range determines whether a unit can reach an ally in danger; consistency matters when a recovery effect depends on Luck; and combat or defensive utility can make a healer valuable even when no one needs immediate recovery. Route access matters too: a powerful unit is less useful if recruiting them on your path is difficult.

The picks below follow GamingAlly’s healer-specific ranking, published September 23, 2026, with role notes cross-checked against Mobalytics’ healer and support guide, updated October 7, 2026. Neither guide establishes an official ranking. Mobalytics’ captured page does not provide a text-based ranked five, so it supports role and tier comparisons rather than a precise order.

The five best healer picks
1. Sofia: best for dedicated healing
Sofia is the clearest choice when your priority is reliable healing output. GamingAlly reports that her Healing Knowledge ability adds 10 HP to magic healing, and that later abilities increase her healing range. Mobalytics also places her in S tier, citing her healing bonus and later range improvement.
#1 Best Overall
- Here, order is maintained by the Church of Seiros from its headquarters at Garreg Mach Monastery, home to the Officers Academy, where you’re invited to teach one of its three mighty houses: The Black Eagles, The Blue Lions, and The Golden Deer.
- Which house will you choose?
- As its professor, you must lead your students in class and in tactical RPG battles wrought with strategic, new twists to overcome.
She joins automatically on Theodora’s route and is described as comparatively easy to recruit on other routes. That combination of healing focus and availability makes her the strongest all-around pick for players who want a primary healer.
2. Olympia: best healer-damage hybrid
Olympia is a flexible mage who can contribute damage while filling a secondary healing role. GamingAlly points to her Heal and Physic access, high Magic growth, and Nosferatu self-sustain; Mobalytics similarly describes her as a mage damage dealer who can serve as a sub-healer.
Choose Olympia when you want one unit to contribute across offense and support. Her appeal is versatility, not a claim that she outheals Sofia as a dedicated healer.

Fianna has the highest burst-healing potential in GamingAlly’s assessment. Her support spells include Recover, Regen, and Rescue, giving her several ways to help allies. The trade-off is consistency: key effects depend on Luck, so her strongest outcomes are less dependable than Sofia’s straightforward healing role.
Rank #2
- Command Fire Emblem: Three Houses characters like Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude in epic real-time battles
- Play through three distinct storylines set in the Fire Emblem: Three Houses universe, each with a different ending, from the point of view of a new protagonist, Shez.
- Combine the action-packed Warriors-style gameplay with the strategy and style of the Fire Emblem series
- Fight through hordes of enemies with Fire Emblem: Three Houses characters and their distinct abilities
- Use Fire Emblem series mechanics like the weapons triangle, character classes, crests, and battalions to tailor your strategy
Mobalytics also describes Fianna as Luck-dependent and recommends her as a backline healer. She suits players who value high upside and can plan around some variance.
4. Tialla: strong primary healer on Cai’s route
Tialla joins automatically on Cai’s route and learns Physic and Recover, making her a capable primary healer there. Recruiting her on other routes is much harder: GamingAlly describes requirements involving quests, support, renown, and gold.
Think of Tialla as a route-specific strength rather than an easy universal recruit. Mobalytics also highlights her as a healer-buffer and support option.
5. Ultand: passive support for the frontline
Ultand’s Patch Up skill heals an adjacent ally after combat without spending his action or spell charges, according to GamingAlly. That makes him useful as a frontline or passive-support unit who can contribute healing while taking part in combat.
Rank #3
- USA NTSC version game with World Edition packaging as pictured. No Region Restrictions.
- Two kingdoms are on the brink of war. Whose side will you choose?
- Torn between two families, you're an heir of Hoshido, raised by Nohrian royals.
- If you walk the path of Birthright, you'll battle the corrupted king of Nohr beside a family of strangers.
- Command them expertly and forge deep relationships to master this turn-based strategy game.
He is not a substitute for a ranged primary healer: he cannot learn Physic and cannot heal distant allies. Mobalytics places him in A tier and notes defensive support at higher levels.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why rankings can disagree
“Best healer” changes meaning depending on whether the ranking prioritizes raw healing, overall roster value, route access, or combat contribution. GamingAlly ranks healing potency, range, consistency, and support utility, with combat as a tiebreaker. KeenGamer’s September 24, 2026 roster tier list instead evaluates broader factors, including growths, abilities, team role, route availability, and recruitment cost.
That broader list names Olympia as an S-tier healer while placing Sofia and Fianna among B-tier characters in its Part I assessment. This does not necessarily contradict Sofia leading a dedicated-healing shortlist: Olympia can score better for overall roster value, while Sofia’s abilities make her a more focused healer. There is no established Nintendo ranking of these characters.
Game and platform context
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is a turn-based tactical RPG for Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo describes its combat as strategic, turn-based command of units; positioning, classes, weapons, magic, armor, and special attacks shape the broader battle system. The healer picks here are support and recruit characters discussed by guide writers, not a claim that the central heroes Cai, Dietrich, Theodora, and Leda are all healers. Nintendo’s US product listing gives the game’s release date as September 17, 2026. It is listed for Nintendo Switch 2, not the original Switch.
