The 2026 The Duskbloods Network Test has ended. Applications were accepted from July 22 through July 28, 2026, and the playable sessions ran from August 21 to August 24. The first August 21 session was cancelled because of server issues; the remaining four sessions were completed. There is no open application form or documented way to join that test now.
What were The Duskbloods Network Test times?
Each scheduled window lasted four hours. Times below include the original local conversions published for the test.

Can you still sign up for the 2026 test?
No. The application period closed on July 28, 2026, and no new applications can be submitted for the completed test. Buying the required console or subscribing to the required online service cannot retroactively create access.
#1 Best Overall

- One system, three play modes: TV, Tabletop, and Handheld
- Larger, vivid, 7.9” LCD touch screen with support for HDR and up to 120 fps
- Dock that supports 4K when connected to a compatible TV*

How did sign-up work when applications were open?
- Open the official campaign site linked by Nintendo and FromSoftware during the announced application period.
- Sign in with a Nintendo Account or link one to the campaign account.
- Confirm the country or region associated with the account and submit the application.
- Wait for the selection result in the campaign account on August 7, 2026.
- If selected, retrieve the download code from the campaign account on August 18, 2026.
Submitting an application did not guarantee selection. Access depended on being chosen for the test, in addition to meeting the hardware and service requirements.
What did you need to participate?
- Nintendo Switch 2: The test build required Nintendo’s newer console; an original Nintendo Switch was not listed as an eligible platform.
- Active Nintendo Switch Online membership: This was a service requirement for the online test.
- Linked Nintendo Account: The account was used for the campaign application, regional confirmation, selection result and download code.
- Selection: Eligibility alone did not guarantee a test slot.
The console requirement and online membership applied to participation in the test, while the application itself also required the linked account and correct region information.
What was tested?
FromSoftware described the Network Test as a pre-release build used to test performance before service begins. Its stated purpose was large-scale network-load testing, checking online systems across different network environments, and collecting multiplayer and game-balance data.

Future access will require a new official announcement; the completed 2026 application does not carry over automatically. Monitor the official The Duskbloods site and Nintendo’s channels for a new campaign, then verify the details rather than relying on old dates.
Check the platform and service first
Confirm that the new announcement names Nintendo Switch 2 and whether an active Nintendo Switch Online membership is still required. Requirements can change between tests.

Record the time in your own zone
Convert every listed session from the announcement’s reference zone and note whether the local date moves back one day. A four-hour window can begin late at night in North America even when it is already the following morning in the UK or Europe.
Confirm selection and access instructions
Look for the application closing date, selection date, code-delivery date and the account where results will appear. An application is not the same as a guaranteed invitation.
Watch for schedule changes
Network tests can be postponed or cancelled if server problems occur. Check the latest official notice immediately before each window, especially after a previous session has experienced outages.
Is there a new Duskbloods beta application?
No new application or reopening is documented in the available 2026 information. The next opportunity depends on a separate announcement from the game’s official channels.
