If you want an upright carpet cleaner designed with pet messes in mind, BISSELL’s ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro, model 3586, is a relevant option to investigate. BISSELL says it targets tough pet stains and odors, including cat urine, and lists an upholstery tool and an 8-foot hose. Those are manufacturer claims and specifications—not independent proof that it outcleans competing machines.
What BISSELL says the ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro does
BISSELL presents model 3586 as an upright carpet cleaner for tough pet stains and odors, explicitly including cat urine. The product page names CleanShot Pretreater with OXY and StainProtect Technology as part of the machine’s stain-fighting features. These descriptions come from BISSELL, not a comparative cleaning test. BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro, model 3586.

Tools for furniture and pet beds
BISSELL lists a 2-in-1 Pet Upholstery Tool and an 8-foot hose for cleaning furniture, pet beds, and stairs. That makes the included above-floor setup worth considering if messes happen beyond carpet. Check the product listing and package contents for the specific retailer and purchase, since this article does not establish current stock or bundle variations.

What to compare before choosing a pet carpet cleaner
Do not choose on a pet-focused label alone. Compare the exact model’s intended surfaces, included tools, hose reach, clean-water capacity, weight, compatible formulas, and cleaning and maintenance instructions. A specification from one machine is not evidence about another model.

Keep model specifications attached to the model
BISSELL’s page for model 35799 lists carpets and rugs, low-pile carpet, stairs, pet beds, upholstery, and fabric among its surfaces; it also names a pet stain tool, a 3-inch tough stain tool, and a one-gallon clean tank. Those details apply to model 35799, not model 3586, unless BISSELL separately confirms them for 3586. BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro, model 35799.
Consider alternatives without assuming a winner
Hoover’s official manuals index lists the SmartWash PET Complete Automatic Carpet Cleaner, model FH53000, as another pet-oriented option. The available model information here does not establish a head-to-head cleaning result, so it is a candidate to compare—not a proven better or worse machine. Hoover manuals index.

Use the formula specified as compatible by the cleaner’s manual and the formula’s current label. BISSELL identifies upright-compatible formulas and PET PRO OXY Urine Eliminator in information for its ProHeat pet system; its formula page describes a Pet Pro system and urine-eliminator formula. Do not infer that every BISSELL formula—or any formula from another brand—works in every upright cleaner. Verify compatibility for the exact machine before use.
