Neither has been established as a universal durability or fingerprint winner in an independent comparison.
Which Galaxy S25 screen protector should you choose?
| Option | Best fit for | What the maker lists |
|---|---|---|
| Samsung Galaxy S25 Anti-reflecting Film EF-US931CTEGWW | People who prioritize reduced reflections and prefer a film | Samsung says it reduces unwanted reflections and helps defend against dust and fingerprint smudges. Samsung Brazil says it is compatible with the ultrasonic biometric reader. These are manufacturer claims, not independent test results. Samsung product listing |
| Spigen GLAS.tR EZ Fit | People who prefer tempered glass and guided fitting | Spigen lists an alignment tray and two protectors in the package, and says the protector works with Spigen Galaxy S25-series cases. That does not establish fit with every third-party case. Spigen product listing |
| Spigen GLAS.tR EZ Fit Privacy | People who want to restrict side-angle viewing | Spigen offers versions for the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra; its listing distinguishes the models and marks some versions incompatible across variants. Match the exact phone before ordering. Spigen privacy listing |
Samsung’s anti-reflecting film: choose it for the stated glare benefit
The EF-US931CTEGWW is a film made for the base Galaxy S25. Samsung positions it as a way to reduce unwanted reflections and help defend against dust and fingerprint smudges. The product page does not give a numerical reflection-reduction result, so treat the benefit as Samsung’s product claim rather than a measured guarantee.

Samsung Brazil says the film is compatible with the phone’s ultrasonic biometric reader and describes an alignment and installation kit. That is useful if fingerprint access and guided application matter, but the listing does not guarantee recognition performance for every person or installation. Check local availability: Samsung’s China listing showed the film sold out when accessed, which does not indicate stock in other countries. Samsung China listing
Spigen GLAS.tR EZ Fit: choose it for tempered glass and a fitting tray
Spigen’s clear GLAS.tR EZ Fit is tempered glass for Galaxy S25-series phones. The package listing includes an alignment tray and two protectors. Spigen says the clear protector is compatible with its own S25-series cases; that claim should not be generalized to cases from other makers.

- PROTECTION & CLARITY: 9H tempered glass with an oleophobic coating that helps reduce fingerprints and makes cleaning easier. High transparency maintains the clarity of your display.
Spigen also describes natural touch response and illustrates the ultrasonic sensor. Those are vendor statements, not evidence that fingerprint recognition will work identically for every user or after every installation. Its product FAQ says: “Yes, the Spigen GLAS.tR EZ Fit for the Galaxy S25 Series is flawlessly designed to cover the whole screen and fit with Spigen cases, keeping full display coverage and case compatibility together.” This is promotional wording from Spigen, not an independent fit test.
Privacy glass: match the protector to the exact phone
A privacy protector is for readers who want to limit what people beside them can see on the display. Spigen’s privacy listing separates Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra versions and identifies incompatibilities between some variants. Check the model name on the phone and the exact listing before buying; the base S25 protector should not be assumed to fit another S25 model.

What is—and is not—known about protection and fingerprints
The available product listings establish the material and maker-stated features, but they do not establish that either option is tougher overall or better at preventing scratches, surviving drops, or recognizing fingerprints. No independent laboratory comparison or named durability statistic was identified in the sources cited here. Choose by the tradeoff that matters to you, rather than treating marketing language as a comparative test.

Check before you order
- Confirm the phone is a Galaxy S25, S25+, or S25 Ultra as applicable; these protectors are not interchangeable by assumption.
- Pick Samsung’s film if its stated reflection-reduction benefit is your priority; pick Spigen’s clear glass if you prefer tempered glass and an included alignment tray.
- If you use a case, verify the exact protector-and-case combination. Spigen’s compatibility claim applies to its own cases, not all cases.
- For fingerprint access, rely on the vendor’s compatibility statements as claims, not a promise of identical results for every installation.
- Check stock in your country before ordering; one region’s product availability does not establish availability elsewhere.
