Early October Prime Day beauty deals reported so far
NBC Selected’s September 22 roundup reported the following Amazon prices. These are snapshots from its article, not guaranteed live offers; confirm the exact variant, seller, stock, current price and Prime eligibility on the retailer’s product page. The roundup says it screened recommendations for a discount of at least 20%, a price low in the prior three months and an Amazon rating of at least 4.0 stars from hundreds of customers. Those are NBC Selected’s stated criteria, not independent product tests.

That does not rule out a later listing: Amazon says new Today’s Big Deals are scheduled to drop at midnight, 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. PDT during the event, and limited-time offers may sell out. Check Amazon again during those windows if a red light mask is on your list. Do not assume a mask is discounted—or that a discount establishes medical effectiveness—without checking the actual product information.

When Prime Big Deal Days runs and who can shop event deals
Amazon’s U.S. event is scheduled from 12:01 a.m. PDT on October 6 through 11:59 p.m. PDT on October 7, 2026. Amazon describes it as a 48-hour sale across more than 35 categories, including beauty. Event-exclusive deals require Prime membership. Amazon’s published U.S. membership price is $14.99 per month or $139 per year; eligible customers may have a 30-day trial. How to tell whether a beauty deal is worth buying
Start with what you actually need. A hair dryer, cleanser and eye patches are not interchangeable simply because each has a discount. Then check the offer itself:
- Match the exact model, size, shade or set contents; attachments and variants can change the value.
- Compare the current price with a meaningful reference, such as the same item’s price history or a current price from another retailer. Amazon says its product pages offer a Price History link with up to 365 days of pricing insights on hundreds of millions of products; availability can vary by item and interface.
- Confirm who is selling the item, whether it is in stock, shipping details, return terms and whether the deal requires Prime.
- Recheck the price at checkout. A previous price or a stated discount does not guarantee that the offer is still available.
