Windows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallCrashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteFor most listeners, start with Deezer’s free AI Music Detector. It can scan playlists from 20 common streaming services and is the simplest way to screen a large listening queue. Use Google SynthID Detector when the file may come from a supported Google watermarking workflow. Labels, distributors, publishers and platforms should consider IRCAM Amplify AI Music Detector (AIMD), which analyzes the audio waveform and is built for catalog and API screening.
No detector can universally prove that vocals are human. A “not detected” result means only that the particular system found no signal within its coverage. Fully synthetic songs, one AI-generated vocal layered into a human production, and voice transformations are different detection problems, so the result must be read in that context.

What you are actually trying to detect
“Is this song AI-generated?” can describe several technically different situations:

|---|---|---|
| Fully synthetic track | Patterns associated with an end-to-end AI music generator | This is the case for which consumer detectors most often publish accuracy figures. |
| AI-assisted human production | A generated element inside an otherwise human arrangement, such as an AI backing track or lyric idea | A system trained to classify complete AI tracks may miss a small generated component. |
| Synthetic vocal or voice transformation | Evidence that a vocal was generated, cloned or transformed while the instrumental and arrangement remain human | One vocal layer can be harder to identify than a completely synthetic master. |
Most public claims from the tools below concern fully AI-generated music or a supported watermark. They should not be converted into a universal judgment about a single vocal stem. A detector score is evidence about a file under a particular model’s coverage, not a certificate of human authorship.

Deezer reports 99.8% accuracy for fully AI-generated music and says it labeled more than 13.4 million detected tracks in 2025. Those are Deezer’s own figures, not an independent cross-vendor benchmark. IRCAM Amplify advertises 99% accuracy, less than 1% false positives and throughput above 250,000 tracks per hour, depending on server capacity. Those are also vendor-published AIMD claims. Neither figure establishes performance on every synthetic-vocal or mixed human/AI case.
Deezer AI Music Detector: best first check for listeners
Deezer launched its free online detector on June 11, 2026. Its practical advantage is workflow rather than a need to obtain an audio file: you can submit a playlist from one of 20 common streaming platforms and screen a listening queue at once. The interface is available in 27 languages.
What it is designed to catch
Deezer says the system detects fully AI-generated music from major generators such as Suno and Udio. It can add support for other systems when relevant examples become available. That wording defines the boundary of the result: a positive classification is most meaningful when the song resembles the fully generated material within the detector’s covered examples.

- Open Deezer’s online AI Music Detector.
- Choose the playlist-sharing or import option for the streaming service that hosts the suspicious song.
- Submit the playlist and wait for the scan to finish.
- Record the exact track result, the playlist or source service, and the date of the scan.
- For an important decision, preserve the result and confirm it with a second form of evidence such as credits, an artist statement or a compatible watermark check.
Where its headline accuracy does and does not apply
The 99.8% accuracy figure is Deezer’s published claim for fully AI-generated music. It should not be restated as 99.8% accuracy for identifying a synthetic vocal in a human-produced song. A track with a short transformed chorus, an AI double, or an edited stem may not match the task used for that figure.

IRCAM Amplify AIMD: professional waveform screening
IRCAM Amplify positions AIMD for DSPs, distributors, labels, publishers and collective-management organizations. Instead of relying on metadata, tags or a platform label, it analyzes the raw audio waveform and returns a probability score of AI generation.
Why waveform analysis matters
Metadata can be removed or changed during distribution. A waveform-based system examines the audio signal itself, which makes it suitable for catalog screening where files arrive from multiple platforms and providers. It still depends on the models and examples represented in its training and evaluation coverage; waveform analysis is not proof that every unknown generator or vocal transformation will be recognized.
Supported models and operating claims
IRCAM lists support for Suno, Udio, Sonauto, ElevenLabs and other models. The provider advertises 99% accuracy and fewer than 1% false positives, plus throughput above 250,000 tracks per hour depending on server capacity. These numbers are product claims rather than an independently verified head-to-head test. The product is offered with API and SDK access for integration; public commercial terms are not established here and must be confirmed for the intended deployment.
How a professional team should read the score
- Set an internal review threshold instead of treating every score as an automatic takedown decision.
- Keep the original audio, the detector version and the timestamp with the score.
- Route borderline or high-impact cases to human review, checking contracts, credits and delivery records.
- Test the same policy on known human, known synthetic and hybrid examples before applying it to a large catalog.
Google SynthID Detector: a provenance check, not a universal detector
Google’s SynthID system embeds an imperceptible watermark into audio generated or published through supported Lyria and NotebookLM workflows. The public SynthID Detector checks compatible audio files for that mark.

What a positive result tells you
If the detector finds a SynthID watermark, that is useful provenance evidence that the checked audio passed through a compatible Google workflow. Save the original file and the detector result because later editing or transcoding can affect what is detectable.
What “not detected” tells you
“Not detected” means the detector did not find the watermark it knows about. It does not mean the vocal is human. A song made with an unsupported generator, a voice-conversion system outside the SynthID ecosystem, or a file that has been edited may have no detectable SynthID mark.
When to choose SynthID first
Use it when you have a file and a credible reason to suspect Google-generated audio. It is especially useful as a provenance check alongside a broader detector, not as a replacement for one.
YouTube Music labels: corroborating platform context
YouTube Music is rolling out labels for songs created primarily with generative AI and says it uses detection tools with music partners. A label can help explain why a track was flagged or disclosed on the platform, but it is not a universal forensic test for every synthetic vocal, voice conversion or mixed production.

Platform labels also describe the platform’s current policy and detection coverage. They may focus on songs created primarily with generative AI rather than identifying every AI layer inside a human arrangement. Treat the label as one documented signal and retain the track’s credits and artist disclosures.
Step-by-step workflow for checking a suspicious song
- Define the question. Write down whether you are checking a fully synthetic track, one vocal layer, or any AI assistance. This prevents a full-track result from being misreported as proof about a particular singer.
- Preserve the best available source. Save the original file when you have it, including format and date. Do not begin with a re-encoded social-media copy if a lossless or distributor-delivered file is available.
- Run the listener screen. If the track appears in a supported playlist, submit that playlist to Deezer’s detector and record the exact result and date.
- Check compatible provenance. If Lyria or NotebookLM is plausible, upload the original file to SynthID Detector. Record “watermark found” or “not detected” exactly; never rewrite the latter as “human.”
- Use professional screening when the decision is consequential. Labels, distributors, publishers and platforms can send catalog audio through AIMD’s professional workflow and retain its probability score.
- Check non-detector evidence. Compare songwriter, producer and vocal credits; read the artist’s own disclosure; review distributor declarations; and look for a YouTube Music AI label.
- Compare the signals. A compatible watermark or agreement among independent detector results is stronger than one negative scan. A conflict is a reason for review, not a reason to choose the result you prefer.
- Document the chain of evidence. Keep the source file, any playlist URL or catalog identifier, detector names and versions if shown, scores or labels, dates, and the edits performed before testing.
How to interpret positive and negative results
Positive evidence is conditional
A positive SynthID finding has a clear provenance interpretation: the file contains a watermark from a supported Google workflow. A high AI-generation probability from AIMD or a positive Deezer classification is evidence that the file matches patterns within that system’s covered examples. The strength of the conclusion depends on the tool’s known generator coverage and on whether the tested file is the original.
Negative evidence is weaker
A negative result from any one system means only that it found no supported signal. SynthID may have no mark to find, while commercial detectors may not recognize an unknown generator or a heavily edited file. Therefore, “not detected” cannot be published as “the vocals are human.”

Hybrid productions need narrower wording
If a detector identifies a fully AI-generated master, report that scope. If the suspected use is an AI vocal layered over human instruments, say that the tool detected or did not detect AI patterns in the submitted recording; do not claim it authenticated every vocal performance or isolated stem unless the tool explicitly supports that task.

Why edits, unknown generators and stems cause trouble
Re-encoding, trimming, mastering changes, stems and other edits can change the signal a detector sees. A file exported from a streaming service may not be equivalent to the original upload. Current robustness work specifically treats edited audio and unknown-generator cases as difficult, and mixed human/AI workflows add another layer of uncertainty.
- Re-encoded copy: test the original or highest-quality source as well as the copy that triggered suspicion.
- Edited master: note fades, noise reduction, pitch changes, time stretching and other processing before interpreting a score.
- Unknown generator: treat a negative classification as inconclusive because the model may not have representative examples.
- Stem or excerpt: identify exactly what was tested; a vocal stem and a finished master can produce different results.
- Human/AI combination: avoid all-or-nothing language when only one component may be synthetic.
Choosing a workflow by audience
Individual listener
Use Deezer first for a playlist-scale screen. Add SynthID only when compatible Google provenance is plausible. For a single song, save the result and check credits before making a public accusation.
Journalist, researcher or moderator
Use at least two independent evidence types: a detector result plus provenance, credits or a platform label. Quote the tool’s scope and date, and preserve the exact file tested. Do not turn a vendor accuracy claim into a statement about your particular song.
Label, distributor or publisher
Use AIMD for catalog-oriented waveform screening, define review thresholds, and retain human escalation for disputes. Combine scores with delivery records and contractual disclosures rather than making an automated score the sole basis for a rights decision.
Streaming or social platform
Evaluate throughput, API integration, model coverage and false-positive handling together. AIMD’s advertised capacity is above 250,000 tracks per hour depending on server capacity, but operational sizing, latency and commercial terms still need validation in your environment.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Calling a negative scan proof of a human singer. No tool in this comparison supports that conclusion.
- Applying full-track accuracy to a vocal layer. Deezer’s 99.8% figure is for fully AI-generated music, not every synthetic-vocal scenario.
- Comparing vendor percentages as if they were one test. Deezer and IRCAM publish different claims, tasks and evaluation conditions; there is no independently verified cross-vendor ranking here.
- Confusing a watermark with general detection. SynthID can identify supported provenance, but unsupported generators and transformations may leave no mark.
- Ignoring the file history. Edits, stems and re-encoding can change detector behavior.
- Treating a platform label as a forensic verdict. YouTube Music labels are useful corroboration, not coverage of every AI vocal transformation.
- Publishing a score without its scope. Always state the tool, the file tested, the date, and whether the claim concerns a complete track or a suspected vocal component.
What the current evidence supports
For accessible consumer screening, Deezer is the practical starting point. For professional catalog operations, AIMD is the purpose-built option among these tools because it works from waveform data and offers integration paths. SynthID is valuable when the question is compatible Google provenance. YouTube Music labels can add platform context.
None of those roles changes the central limitation: synthetic-vocal detection is probabilistic and coverage-dependent. The most defensible conclusion comes from converging evidence—a compatible watermark or multiple detector signals, plus credits and disclosure—while a single “not detected” result remains inconclusive.
